I'm working on customising a '55 Chevy, and I need a set of wheels. I like Revell-Monogram's '95 ZR1 wheels/tires, but I can't get any from the company. Does anyone know where I can get a set? 1/24 or 1/25 scale, either would be good.

If you wish for me to post the entire collection, I'll gladly do it. Alot (about 65%) are my uncles, and about 57% were there before I moved in.

go ahead and post your entire collection.

i almost wonder about some of you. you either have (A.) been collectiong for a long time. (B.) have far too much money. (C.) found them for cheap.

and for everyone here, about how much money do you think you spent in your collection so far? i have spent about 150 (total) for all 12 of my models

Alot of mine, I wouldn't know b/c my uncle has been collecting quite alot before I moved in. And I'm not quite ready to tell why I have moved in.

Anyways, my F1 GTRs have yet to come in. :guilty: :(

Anyways, my most expensive model has probably got to be my uncle's Shelby Cobra with a signed Carrol Shelby plate with it for about $375.

But my most expensive to has yet to come in. $200 for the set #42 & #43 F1 GTRs.

A cobra with a signature!? That's gotta be one desireable model! What scale is it? And is there any way that you could post a pic?

1/18 scale. But I'll have to get a paper clip. He likes to lock himself in his office, or lock it when he leaves. He is a buisness trip, but I've gotten in his office before.
once, through the window. Actually twice.
and once with a paper clip.

Bad thing:
He gets mad if I touch the case. Like it's his kid or something.

I'm relatively new to collecting, I've only recently got into this hobby! Anyway. I have a Lamborghini Diablo and a Honda Civic Si, I'm wondering if there's a place where I can get them cheap. Because the only stores that carry models where I live are Wal-Mart, Toys 'R' Us, and Kay-Bee Toys, and their models aren't the best ever. Is there a store in the greater metropolitan are for me to go buy cars? Or is tehre a webite that's trustable? Thanks! :D

I get quite a few of mine from Scalecars.com, but I really DON"T recommend it if you're looking for cheap ones. The prices are incredibly high reaching the $500 limit on some.So Scalecars is very good and VERY detailed with little things (pedals, gear knobs, interior matching the real thing, wood with leather, etc.)
but very expensive. Don't expect and McLarens, Lamborghinis, Ferraris, or late 80's Le Mans Porsches to come cheap.

I like diecaststation.com good selection, good prices, and they're reliable. I've used them twice for two models each time and have never had a problem.

diecaststation. Only heard of it once, now twice. A guy across the street has a bucnh of models. He named way too many makers.

OMG, I've got to show you guys pics of his garage. That checkered floor plan. Posters all over the garage, everything.
His wife even helps him work on his cars.
