Hybriding a Possibility? Your thoughts.

Would you mind if people used hybrids in GT5?

I would be interested in making a hybrid car because my REAL LIFE car(s) are not in the game...I need to take the Bora body, put FWD on it, and stick a smaller engine in.

Too hard to explain but if you use the Search option, you'll find countless of threads on it including sub-forums that will sum it up pretty quickly :D.

I googled it in the end, I find the GTP search function a bit lousy since I found a lot on hybriding but no explanation :indiff:

Yeah, it's been around since GT1 but took full effect in GT2 and was brilliant in GT4.
I'm curious to know if anyone has a Hybrid they wish to gift as a trial to see if it will firstly, even gift. Secondly to see what will happen if you play online with it etc.

Anything in the right hands can be used for good.

I think PD should just work with it(and hackers). Give us some type of tool that would let us do it with out the hacks, while at the same time putting some type of restriction on it.
 
If you could find a way to get any car into the game, then everyone could have the car they wanted. In terms of Hybrids you could give say the Jaguar S-Type R '02 the grip and speed of the X2010 S. Vettel. Personally if it is used for offline use and not online I think it would be bad ass.
 
I do not believe a Hybrid exists yet, surely if anyone had worked out how to do this there would be a video since it would be big news. I believe it when I see evidence.

If hybrids become possible and they can race online the best thing about GT5 will be destroyed. I can see people altering the handling of a car in a way that it isn't obvious that it has been altered but you sit there wondering what their secret to getting around corners quicker than you is.

The only problem with this is, many of the people hacking the game aren't really doing it out of any sincere desire to add features to the game. They are doing it as a challenge just because they CAN.

Whatever restrictions PD put in after they get the toolbox out to us will be circumvented because that's what gets these people off. Their goal is to circumvent restrictions, and care little for the CONSEQUENCES of doing it. Whether it improves a game or ruins it is of little concern. Circumventing the restrictions is the game, NOT the game itself...
