I apologize if you already covered this but are the tunes on Shift 2 similar or the same as Shift for the same car? I have a lot of your tunes printed out with minor changes from Shift to fit my style of driving...

Completely dissimilar for the most part. The Zonda R for example is far more stable (even with it's default setup) than it was in Shift.
 
Here is my attempt at tuning the Lamborghini Reventon. As usual i have done nothing to the dampers and little to the sway bars! This car is very good straight out the box so any tweaking and feedback would be appreciated...

Disclaimer: This is one crazy ride. Acceleration is blisteringly quick, steering response is even more sharply prompt than in V1, has less of a tendency to understeer when corner entry isn't as smooth and the lift-off oversteer is even less of a problem than in V1. However, the maneuverability and outright speed of this warrants careful consideration as it will get you from 0 -150MPH faster than you can comprehend what's going on around you; fastest lap at London River: 1:11.204, and is fully capable of times of 1:07 and below.

Just tried the Zonda works v2 tune... i'm afraid to press the throttle more than half :crazy:

I have a problem with it on tracks like Glendale though. Those ups and downs require a lot of foot work...

Now on to the 918 works tune :scared:
 
Yeah... the Huayra is a bit insane. I'll work on it some more and see if it can calm it down further.

I beg to disagree... The 918 its not a crazy ride. That's the Huayra :D

The only problem with this car that it requires a lot of practice at each track. But by no means its a difficult car to drive compared to other cars equally powered or even some MUCH less powerful.

T-12 put it nicely (read bold sections above).

And don't forget the brakes. They are VERY powerful AND progressive. Its possible to lock or just touch them lightly or anything in between and always be in control. Try them without ABS and you see what I mean (pad users might disagree...)

About London River... LESS THAN 1:11? Probably yes but 1:07? I don't know any secret shortcut :D Care to tell? :P

Well I've been on that track for so long I can practically judge a car's ideal performance by the way it handles. Like I've said, I know London River like the back of my hand. :lol:

If I could use my DFGT I can outright guarantee that fastest lap time would be at least two seconds quicker.

The Lambo RS-V GT1 tune is really good. Perfect balance with none of the typical MR ass-wagging. Got online and absolutely destroyed every GT1 race I entered. I even beat a few noobs in their high A-Class cars with it. Power was smooth and I never found myself thinking I was in the wrong gear (I use automajik). Top speed was a little low for my tastes but I didn't notice until I was on The Ring.

Also, I tried the Vette GT1 and it's good but I found myself being much more jerky with the wheel to keep it smooth though the tighter corners. This was tested online though, immediately after I used the RS-V, so that and the fact that I was trying to drive around other people may have slightly colored my perception of it. Aside from that, a stable and fun car to drive.

Finally, I tested the Reventon tune but on a works version. This tune is a beast! Drove it online at Road America and won with a 1:51 lap time (check your autolog Nitrovious!). Drove it at Silverstone GP also and did really well all around even on the switch backs which for me is always where I tend to lose Mid-Engine cars. As with all Works super cars, the power-band is nuts but is way easier to control than cars like the Pagani. Took out a half grid of works cars on Monte Carlo by about 10 seconds. Word of advice for the works version though, up the down force a bit or you might fly off the track at high speeds.

Greetings Terronium-12, u seem like a pretty nice guy whos into cars, so if its ok with u; can I be one of ur test drivers. I may be a bit young but i can get the job done. I mostly specialize in musclecars and anything that has over 800 hp. So i'm used to oversteer, but don't like it. I was thinking with ur help maybe we could make a high horsepower muscle car keep its fanny planted to the ground. Oh, btw, I'am also a bit of an agressive driver, so I take turns as hard as possible without the rearend getting away from me.

By the way thanks for directing me to the right thread.

Hi Terronium 12, any chance of some tunes for D, C, and B maxed tunes? Quite like Seat and Audi for the D class, if you need anymore test drivers i would be happy to do so. I used your tunes in the first Shift, and they made that game and this one a much more satisfying experience. Keep up the excellent work. 👍👍

A big thankyou to Terronium 12 for his FIA GT1 Lamborghini Murcielago SVR GT1 tune, that is my favourite GT1 car, its not the fastest but certainly the most enjoyable to drive. The car goes where you point it without any wild oversteer courtesy of the MR layout, the only thing that is a problem is the top speed but its only noticeble on Conrod and not across the top of the mountain where I've made most of my time gains.
