[SFX Adavicro's Snapshots] -- Drifting, Photomode and more. *5/8/11* Challenger RM

Thanks guys. In the next set Ill do Ill try to experiment with something different, and perhaps use a filter as mentioned above. I appreciate the comments. :)

I dont want to be rainin on your parade; but im having a hard time finding nice GT5 pics. Not just in your gallery but in total. I've totally given up on photography in GT5; everything looks stale and boring. The most interesting shots are usually with lots of refelections in it.

(here we go again); FM pics really communicated a feeling or a mood; i miss that in GT5 pics.

I would have to completely disagree. All photos looked the same on Forza, it was either high contrast or over exposed, maybe somewhere in between. Despite those factors, they still looked the same. On GT5 I've seen some of the most stunning photographs Ive ever seen, in real life or in a video game. There are some really great galleries around here, mine fails when stacked up against them. I can only aspire to get better.

I respect your opinion, though.

FM communicated cartoons.

I'm going to have to agree with Cro here. With a few exceptions in the "Mulitmedia Showcase" section.. everything looks the same. I've seen some ridiculously realistic pics around this forum.

Time for a new set, hopefully this time with a bit of class. My friend hooked me up with a '67 ticket and it gave me this bad boy, the Ford MKIV Race Car. I'm not really a Ford guy, but man is this thing sweet. The sound it makes is an evil bellow that is incredible. I didn't know how stylish it was until I took it into photomode and started looking at the lines and crazy details. I hope you like these shots, enjoy. 👍

You're enjoying your coffee at a quiet cafe when you hear what sounds like a Tank approach, and you peek around the corner. What is an American race car doing in Germany? Hahaha... :scared:

I was fascinated with all the minute details and how advanced this car must have been for its time. I tried to bring a modern, geometric look to this one and I'm really happy with how it turned out:

Trying to highlight what I thought was a really cool feature of the car:

My favorite shot of the set, I haven't really spent too much time messing with the filters, but I may have to start giving them more consideration. Only after taking the photo did I realize there's sort of a beam of light shining down onto the car, ooooooohhh spooky. :)

Thanks for looking, I hope there's a photo here that you like. I'm always open to comments and criticism, so please let me know what you think. 👍

That last one is nice cro! I guess ive never really taken a look in the photomode galleries over here. Maybe i should; but i just dont feel like it right now. Couch, Lung Candy and some relaxing music will do just fine for the next 30 minutes..:dunce:

It's time for an update, and this round is all about the Ferrari F40, in this case, an F40 which has been lovingly painted black on black. I tried to experiment with the filters a bit more this time, and hopefully you will like some of these shots. I've never been a really big fan of the lighting at this particular location, so maybe a bit of cross-processing can spice things up. Remember to click for super-size. Okay, here we go.

I love how the foliage looks through this filter, not to mention this amazing car:

I love all of the little details on this car:

My first go at using the miniature filters, I really want to get better using this as it is just too cool. These came out a little under-exposed, but I guess that's better than being way too bright:

Thanks for viewing my gallery, and please leave a comment! I take any feedback I get to heart, so let me know what you think so I can improve my photography. 👍

Up next: More drifting photos. :dopey:

Nice pictures there. Awesome use of the miniature filter. I just can't seem to use it that well:( You done a really good job with the F40 and I can't wait for those drifting shots :D

Thanks for the comment, Im glad that someone likes them. Ive got a huge stash of drift photos that I plan to dump tomorrow, I just wish I would get more views and feedback on the ones previously posted. 👍

Bump for hopefully more feedback. I took quite a lot of time taking these shots and would like to know what people think, and how I could improve.

Thanks. 👍

wow in black it looks even better that F40
might buy another to experiment with colors

and also awesome pictures

Thanks for the comments people, I really appreciate it, and sorry for the delayed reply. I had practically given up hope in that no one was looking at my pictures, let alone liking them. Now that I know they're decent I'll update it more regularly, it's just a shame about PSN right now being down, it complicates things.

About the FT-86 in wallpaper size, yeah I could link you to it, it's on my Flickr. Better yet, I think as as a little project tomorrow I'm going to change my first couple sets from medium to large, I've been meaning to do that. Then anyone could use them as wallpapers if they liked, I'd be honored.

Also, expect a new set coming soon, I have something special planned. ;)

Thanks again for the kind words! 👍 👍

I've been having problems with my computer, which has made updating my gallery a nightmare, but hopefully its now virus free. Time to take advantage of it then and post up another set, this one being mainly drifting shots. I don't have a lot of time to ramble about particular shots, but I hope you like them. Please leave a comment!

These first shots are me and SFX Fadam drifting a d'Azur section for the first time, it turns out it was a lot of fun. He's in the BMW if that isn't obvious. These were taken when PSN was still working, so it's been a while since I've posted a set.

The rest of these pictures are just random and not really organized in any way, I've had them for a while and its time to dump them for the general public to laugh at. A few of these were used for profile pictures inside GT5, the rest never really fit into a set so I'll just splatter them nonsensically here.

I love 1980s inspired color combos. This unsettling "green" and white wheels is one of my favorites. I started learning to drift on the wheel with this car, and its still a beast:

That's it for now, I hope there is a shot that you like here. Comments and criticism are welcome and encouraged. Thanks for taking a peek at my photos. 👍
