How did you cope for a few minutes without The Thread?
Welcome back! :D

I crapped myself when I realised I couldn't view it but as I was using my phone in the smallest room in the house it wasn't a problem ;)

This morning I realised my name wasn't red so I've just bought a lifetime subscription to this...

Been trying to get this for days, for some reason my payment for always comes back with errors and fails. I think I'll have to try the wife's card.

x2.

One for home, and one for my Japanese class :) For our final exam, we're learning how to make sushi/sashimi.

Why would you use smoked salmon for sushi or sashimi?

Southern Comfort, 6 year Reserve, bottled in the 90's - not to be drunk
Southern Comfort, 6 year Reserve, current - not to be drunk
Southern Comfort, from the supermarket, for consumption now.

May I ask why you're not drinking them?

And geometry set (compass, protractor etc.)
I've got exams next week and don't want a lack of equipment to fail me... a lack of knowledge I'll accept though :p

It wasn't at the shop :p. And isn't that one more expensive? I'm going value over quality here...

Just brought this:

New Center Consol for my Alfa Romeo 156, it's replacing the grim wooden one O.E.

As you can see it has a lovely Carbon Fibre finish! :D

Will you be replacing the wheel as well? It can get quite slippery as soon as your palms get moist.

Denali 18' x 10' Family Dome Tent - $80

Surprisingly for a tent this large it wasn't that difficult for me and the kids to set up*, which I was a bit worried about. Now to try it out for real at Itasca some weekend. :D

*ease of tear-down is still to be seen...

Again, not so much of a purchase, but my brother and I went to R32 Fastivus, and entered the raffle and I won :

Don't think I'll go with a "introduce yourself thread" since I doubt I'd get a reply, there seems to be so many new members.

Joined this forum since the Forza one is a bit bland.

Anyway, new purchases:

New Poster for a bare patch of wall.

We took it down yesterday afternoon. Thirty mile per hour winds and two kids "helping" ≠ easy.

On the plus side, it rained all night and some of the day and the inside stayed dry and the rain fly dried off surprisingly quickly. Said wind had something to do with that, of course.

Bought this for my wife but she decided that her laptop is better than a notebook so I'm going to use it as an extra screen for my office PC and store my movies on it.

Always wanted a technic kit when I were a lad and never got round to getting one. Until now...

And an Eagle from Petrolthreads.
