Don't think I could have won the Time Attack Championship Glendale West Race without the Nissan GT-R (R35) SpecV Works Converted Tune!

Same tune was killer for the Time Attack Championship's Suzuka race and the Works' Suzuka Redline Festival events too!

Been enjoying your GT3 tunes lately, they rock too!

I was really excited to find this thread. Definitely makes the game a whole lot more enjoyable and interesting! You're a saint Terronium for taking/making the time to post your work. This is a unique benefit for the NFS Shift series.

The Porsche 918 works tune (v 3.0) is amazing. Some of the tunes work better on the urban circuits, but you've managed to find a pretty good balance with the selected cars on many of the tracks. I was wondering if you had any time to upgrade/race/tune the Audi family with the R8 engine swaps? The TT and S3 are wickedly fast, but I can't seem to smooth out the ride.

Whats up T, I'd like to make a request for a B-Class Toyota AE86 with the following upgrades installed.

Stage 3 Tires, Susp., Brakes, Weight, Bodykit 2, Nitrous 2, Engine swap, and all Stage 3 engine except street valve job and NO block/lower end. Should come to 983 pp. If you feel like messing with any of the upgrades, go ahead. I trust you know what you're doing. Thanks in advance.

A little while ago I asked for a tune for the BMW E92,
But I didn't hear from you...
You said that IF the tunes are already there you ignore the questions,but I can't find it.

Would you please consider doing that tune for me, because I like that car alot.
I only have it works converted.....
 
In order of reply after badeddy's post:

A. I wrote it down somewhere and couldn't find it once I uploaded it. Best I can tell you at this point is to experiment.

B. Take the aero kit off then.

C. That would require me to do the FIA championships (both GT3 and GT1) which I haven't done and aren't likely to do any time soon.

D. Of course you can't find it, I haven't done it yet. :P

I'll get around to it when I have the time, believe me. On an aside, how many entirely new members have I attracted here?
 
hey everone..drag is my specialty, i have drag tunes that can run mid 7's if anyone would like them..just let me know. currently the fastest cars are the audi tt, lambo, and the skyline r35 for 1/4 mile and the rs4 for the standing mile. my rs4 can do 310 depending on the draft produced by other cars on the track..if you are on xbox you can send a friend request to wsr chippster10...

im very interested in your drag (1/4) tunes. i have a tt as well and my best is 7.9 and that is with no tune.....i try tuning it and i get slower and slower so i eventually gave up. got the rs4 up to 308 on nevada but that is as fast as it would go, literally tops out and the other two tracks are a few mph slower for standing mile. not sure the deal there. i don't have xbox im on ps3 so you can drop me a message here if you like on the thread or just message my inbox

I have told many people about this haha, but I just now signed up because I had a special request! I was wondering if you would be able to tune the Mercedes-Benz 722 McLaren Edition, Works converted. I just recently created a livery and it is oh-so-sexy. But my problem is that due to it's stats, it has a hard time keeping up with the other top Works converted cars.

I am perfectly fine with losing a bit of grip and cornering to raise the car's accel/speed. I think that I prefer that the car would have as fast acceleration as possible, while still being able to control, after spending a while with it. I just want to get the most power out of the car possible, as I am going for fast times. Hope you can help!

Also, I was wondering if there was a way that you could squeeze out more power from your LP640 tune? I tried to change it a bit myself, but I don't know if I did well. I raised the final drive to max, placed gears 1-5 on 0.00, and then on the 6th gear, at max. Then I lowered the amount of downforce, pushing it to the max for speed, and set the Front Ride Height to 4, with the Rear being at 2, to aid accel/braking. Did I ruin this tune? It seems to be very quick, but I wanted to know what you thought about it, if I wanted to increase the power as much as possible, to get world record times. I am getting closer on some tracks to reaching regionals.

I don't recommend lowering the LP460's down-force all the way, that thing slides like crazy with it set to maximum. If you want to set records, you need to concentrate on handling with that car, not speed. Try these gears, I found they're good for just about anything

Final Drive: 4
1st gear: 0
2nd gear: 0
3rd gear: 0
4th gear: 1
5th gear: 1
6th gear: 2

And for god's sake, raise your down-force. You're not breaking any records if you're not on the track. Oh, and swap your ride height values. 2 front, 3-4 rear.

Oh, and T, that M1 Procar tune is sharp like a laser. Was destroying punks in maxed B-class cars online. Doesn't have the power to stay with the Gallardos and Audis on the long straights, but once the turns come, I go to plaid on their asses.

You both had contradicting opinions with the downforce and gearing.. or did I read wrong? Would somebody clarify please, Animal, you said the gearing would be for accel, and to raise my downforce, but charlie said I should have 0 downforce... and speed gearing..?

when i get off work i'll post the tunes..personally my favorite game for drag is nfs pro street, i wish they would make another one like that..the drag cars for shift 2 are so inconsistent, 1 day i'll hit a 7.52 to 7.54 and then wont hit it again for a day or so..i'm still getting used to the changes from pro street lol..

I like it my way, but there are different styles of driving and to each his own. I'd say just try it out and see if you like it. I got those gears from someone who runs 5:50's and below on Nordscheife with high down-force so it is possible to run record times with those things in place, if it suits your style.

What else do you know about hitting world records? lol And if you wouldnt mind, could you give me a little more description of what you mean by speed gearing, like all max? or final low all others max? Or close to max.. and what would you suggest for ride heights?
