Lexus LFA Nurburgring Edition

The Nurburgring Edition is going to be tricky because we can't really get a rear wing on the car which really changes the attributes of the handling. I'll look into the car here soon. But I won't be back in town until monday.

I haven't even driven the LFA in GT5, yet, but the real one has a spoiler that rises up. It looks to me that the Nur edition just has it fixed up.

That's what I meant. The "real one" reffering to the Nurb Edition has a solid state rear spoiler. We cannot get that in GT5. So I'm saying if you wanted it the handling attributes might be slightly off.

These cars have me intrigued. I am wondering about the transmissions? Do these companies change out gear sets in these cars? Or do you do that to more closely match the real world gearings? I feel fairly confident that most of these cars don't have straight cut gears in the transmissions (but the FC tranny in GT5 found like it does.)
Many of these cars have had their final drive changed (see), unfortunately using the FC trans is the only way we have of replicating it in the game.

I have noticed that jeremy may not have realised the stock ratios (which are always correct) are not retained when you install the FC trans, you need to input the original ratios as I did with my two tunes in this thread. The particular Yashio Factory Z I replicated for example, retains its standard transmission and was fitted with a 4.1 final drive set. However I tend to stick to the standard boxes on cars that I've taken a "real-world" road car aproach too, I'm really not sure if GT5 provides realism in the gearing of cars. Using the stock ratios and custom final drive ratios, those cars just don't feel/work like I think they should.

Perhaps the FC trans isn't as simple as just allowing custom ratios, much like the suspension settings, where the settings you see here often look ridiculous on paper yet work very well. That said, the game is never going to be completely realistic in any way.

Hey guys, sorry about not posting the Evo X FQ400 tune yet. I've recently moved from Ohio to Tokyo and have yet to bring my ps3 with me.
On another note - I have found the geometry for the STi 320R. It will have a stock rear wing (real one has a small lip) but I figure it will be close enough.

Anybody else have any requests? I have more than enough time to look cars setups up lol.
