HELP, please.
What can I do to make those front tires warm up??? I was using the R34 works but according to the telemetry, they almost never turn "green"... I deflate them a "bit" but before I start experimenting from full to nil?? with the pressure I thought I might ask...

What are the pressures now?

I'm a moron. There I said it. Thank you for the AE86 tune. I meant to type C-Class not B but as I have all the tier 3 susp. and trans. upgrades, I should be able to use this tune just as well. I really just needed a good susp. tune as the stock tune with the Engine Swap is completely mental. No need for further work on my behalf. Again, thank you and again, I'm a moron.:dunce: :banghead:

What about the LP640 question? Would you happen to know?

Having all five ratios as narrow as possible with the sixth being as wide as possible isn't going to do the powerband any favors, unless it's narrow to begin with - which it isn't. Fix that first and keep the ride height as low as possible without actually bottoming out.

If you want it to go around corners faster than it already is then experiment with the suspension softness/stiffness. I'm not going in to one of my usual long informative rants...far too tired for that right now. :P

No problem. 👍

I'm done for the day, the M3 was an absolute pain in my ass and I don't want to see anymore of Unleashed for the rest of the day...

What are the pressures now?

45 - front
43 - rear

BTW, I read the telemetry while racing at Mount Panorama for the endurance race (lap 15).

I THINK the tires get their temperature down on the straights but because I was focused (sometimes :D) on winning the race I didn't have much time to actually investigate the problem.

One thing is sure, the car is stock and the rear tires only stay green in the middle while the front tires barely move from that blue(ish) color even on the middle.

I found out the R8 LMS suffers from the same problem with the front wheels.

Yes. Much better. They warm up faster now and the temperature is spread across the tire.

Its its amazing how one can see the tire temperature going up and down live.

And yes I can confirm that on the more longest straights (Suzuka, Bathrust...) the tires cool down a bit. Colorwise the tire changes from impact green to that light blue(ish) colour.

Sure helps in the endurance races :)

Thanks, again.

On a totally unrelated subject but avoiding double post... May I ask for Renault Megane RS tune works? I don't like Renault but hey, there's a championship with those so... I'll give it a try :)

If the car turns out an headhache like the wokrs Scirocco or the works Golf GTi, don't bother. I rather have it in a lower class.

Alright, will do!

@charlieeeh
What else do you know about hitting world records? lol And if you wouldnt mind, could you give me a little more description of what you mean by speed gearing, like all max? or final low all others max? Or close to max.. and what would you suggest for ride heights?

Thanks

P.S. This goes out to anybody who knows about the subject.

Pretty straight forward: straight from the source. Elite racing community of professional gamers found here: http://isrc2.proboards.com/index.cgi

World records found here: http://shift2.wrecord.com/

Everyone tunes for speed when hot lapping. Handling is something that's within your control, speed isn't. It's very simple. You overcome the handling difficulties by abusing physics and the fact that it's a game (you mess up, you restart; no one IRL tunes cars that way). Anywho, I don't think that's what this thread is set out to do though. It's more about the driving experience and bringing out the car's characteristics, which is not something you do when just racing against the clock.

In short, if you just care about times, generally you want 0 downforce (except for a few specific tracks) and a specific set of ratios for the track (usually tuned for max speed). You compensate handling with skill. This thread is also not for you in that case. T-12 is doing a great job serving the rest of us who just legitimately like playing the game anyway we please. Setting records and PBs get pretty frustrating pretty damn often.

Definitely 0 downforce on a fast track like Nordschleife though for best times.

thanx t-12 , i thought i was going nutz , thanx again

oh do you mind if i post up my video's and pics and maybe some tuning i have done , ( maybe you can help me out on one or two )

Tunes are fine, in fact they're practically encouraged. Videos and pictures on the other hand I'd have to ask that you post those in the appropriate threads.

Want to keep this as tidy as can be.

Because I'm into being a stone in the shoe :D, do you think the Speedhunters SLS AMG fit in the GT3 category? If so, a tune would be cool, when possible.

Those look like Shift values to me.

You're not going to get any feedback on that here as this is for Unleashed. I doubt anyone even plays the original anymore.
