Patch 1.11 wishlist

You guys realize you not going to get all this stuff right ?

At best a patch will address some of the outstanding bugs & issues and perhaps make some minor additions and changes, it sounds to me that too many people posting have confused DLC with patch.

:odd:

Im not 100% on this but if they havent they should allow every rim to be available for every car

Listed in order of importance:

Fix Replay Deficiencies
Show all details of what was used e.g. Active Steering , SRF ON/OFF , ABS , TCS.

In the replay , perhaps in the 'Car Tab' that is already there next to 'Driver Tab' the list of items used to tune the car, current PP/HP etc.

Show the LAST/FINAL split in a best replay lap at the end of the lap (Currently never populated) e.g. T1 and T2 showed but never T3 when a lap has 3 splits/sectors

Allow more granular frame advancement in replays, i.e. maybe a frame by frame option

Rain
Allow selection of Rain in Arcade/TT and GT-Life/Practice/TT modes and tracks

Track Editor
Be able to import/export Tracks created in track editor to USB in the same way as replays, whilst still remaining locked to the user that created them.

Menus
In some menus, to stay inside the sub menu, rather than being kicked out to GT-Life.
Examples:
When exiting a replay, to return to the replay list rather than out to GT-Life. When exiting a seasonal event/TT to return to the seasonal events menu, rather than all the way out to GT-Life again.

The Clock displayed in the main race event menu (just like in the car setup menu or Lounge Main Menu) so I know when to go to bed when doing a seasonal TT :)

I want to be able to delete Museum cards. I don't have all of them, but most of the ones I have are doubles or triples.
I also want all cars to be premium, or at least so I can change the wheels on ALL of my cars. Don't care about the cockpit view - just the wheels and maybe the ability to use regular cars in Photo Travel.

There's enough cars for now. Tracks, tracks, and more tracks.

There's never enough cars and tracks (especially Premium cars) and although I don't pretend it's an alternative for real world tracks the course creator ensures I'm never driving the same tracks over and over again.
There's a lot of great things you can do with it, even when it's severy limited in the way it's implemented.

Speaking of which, wouldn't mind some new themes though, since the scenery is getting very predicatable and boring.
How about a 'desert' theme with both tarmac and sand road versions (the sand path being barely visible to create a rally raid feeling), a 'rough terrain' theme with a rocky road surface as an addition to the gravel theme we've got now, a 'hillclimb' theme or a 'multilane-highway' theme perhaps.
Point to point tracks would be nice, both for rallying or to create short drag strips, maybe even a salt lake version, etc., etc.

I would love for the ability to be able to create your own race, like being able to select the type of cars you want to race against, etc. Being able to set the time/weather for offline/practice mode.

For online racing, I'd like to have an option for the host to set a one make race option.

And for the love of god can you please add button support for us logitech G27 owners. I want to be able to assign buttons to my wheel for the longest time now.

Please fix the Audi R8 5.2 FSI interior view when driving, that car uses a stick and not paddle shifters.

sorry for my english this is not my main language

I want all my garage for arcade and 2 player mode.
Performance Point available for 2 player mode.
New premium car and standard car who become premium like the Veyron
More car who can become RM
Forward and rewind in replay mode.
Standard car available in the photo mode.
Able to put IA in 2 player mode and online. (i play sometime with 2 or 3 friend and can be a cool feature)
More 2010 and 2011,2012 car
More real track and custom track like the old one (el captain, canyon, NY, Seattle, etc)
Better collision between car and wall but proabably more in GT6
Option to be able to put the car in the original ways he was in offline and online (that mean even remove the motor boost level 1 to 3 just like wnat you just buy it and put a option in online and 2 offline mode to only have those car when you want, a bit like forza where you can use your car in your garage or use the car from the dealer)
Endurance save where you just pause the game and restart where you was
wheel for all car
remove that **** to paint car and be able to use every paint you want on your car or at least the dealership color

Paid events for big payouts?

Lets say, you have an entry fee and a car formula restriction for an event that will pay out a 7 figure sum.
For example:

DTM vs GT500 - 10,000cr entry fee
Car restrictions based only on the car category (in this case DTM & GT500 cars only)
Winning prize could be 1,000,000cr, a random paint chip, helmet, suit and a LMP car. (With free entry into the LMP class race following, but only if you enter at that point with the prize car)

Just to make sure that thing don't go too easily the AI cars are automatically spec'd to the same level as the car you bring in, although their inherent lack of driving talent will remain.
Expect to be involved in, or trying to avoid, some large crashes, but reap the massive rewards afterwards!

i think the entry fee is an excellent idea...but idk how other would feel about that. i like to "gamble"..its better to race knowing you could lose something than knowing youd just have to race it again.

I was thinking that the lowest payout you could achieve would be the entry fee, for last place finish. (although you would get nothing for retiring from the race of course)
So even if you dumped it into the pits for the remainder of the race, if you felt you weren't competitive enough, you would still get a finish payout. (just like in online races)

My (continuous) wishlist, a greater sense of speed in bumper / bonnet views. Just no blur , please, no blur. well, maybe just a little on small portion of horizon only. Just no NFS underground sensation.

More Aggressive AI, and more Friendly AI, to respect my driving lines if clearly I am coming in behind them 50kmh faster than they'll ever go.

Less scripty AI, more random dynamic feel to AI.

Stricter restrictions for seasonals, but fully configurable seasonals. (One Seasonal to rule them all), like practice mode, just more options and varied rewards for difficulty used.

New cars to be introduced in dealership, or OCD

OCD to refresh as UCD does, make em more expensive to buy for all I care, just refresh them!

PD to hire a team of car tuners, and tune their cars , allow for special track editions of premium cars that come pre-tuned, i.e at a massive upgrade cost. If it wasn't for courtesy of the amazing GT planets' Tuning forum garages and devout knowledgeable tuners, this game would be a coaster, and fast.

better graphical representation of what tuning changes do to the car, in garage, telemetry, etc

a couple of new fun tracks, not asking for 10-15 tracks, just 2 to 4 tracks that can add spice to the game.

Logitech wheel calibration, show pedal forces, adjustments, etc. including for G25 / G27.

Online penalties for both colider and colidee. Give Colider permament damage costing 3x the car price to repair.

otherwise game is just fine.

oh, and another very easy glitch fix, instead of patching the track with more concrete, sidewalls and tires, why not 1 line of code that says:

IF Root of trees IS higher than roof of car by a mile, then EXIT game.

I want the option to adjust music during a race/pause menu. Change songs, adjust volume/bass, etc.

Also, I want the option to set up your own A.I. race, with range of difficulty like in GT4, car selection by country, power, make, model, and how many vehicles that will participate in the race. Basically, I want to have a nostalgic '90s JDM race on the Wangan track, since that's what I grew up with! Or even a sweet one-on-one on a tight custom track, like Toscana.

I think I could just sit there forever pretending it was the 90's!

Able to make real point to point rally stages with staggered starts on create a track and everyone elses ideas

More telemetry!!!!!

The data logger is .... Mhhh "cheap" in gt5
Adherence cône, adherence level per wheel, etc...

And please extend it to every race. Why only in practice mode?
It's like if racing team plug the telemetry sensors only during private practice... Non sense

Better control of online lobbies:

More restrictions, specifically the ability to restrict use of or completely lock out the power limiter. Implement some kind of quick-to-navigate side menu so the host can kick people while driving/racing.

Better filtering of online lobbies:

Allow us to filter lobbies based on the host's exact country of origin, not just region. Also allow us to filter them based on allowed modifications (including tires & limiter), performance points, etc.

Also, implement an "unofficial gametype" room status for those drag rooms, traffic lounges, cops & robbers rooms, etc. It's hard to know what to categorize them as now.

Set trade free:

OK, you've ruined trading long enough now. Bring back multi-account trading and trading of valuable cars!

Reorder the UCD:

I hate to say this considering all the effort people have gone to to chart the UCD cycle, effort that would be wasted if the UCD cycle were to be changed again. However, the UCD seems to be dominated by Japanese cars just like the rest of the game, and with 800 standard cars it can be nearly impossible to find that one car you want, especially if it's not Japanese. I know I've been looking for a low-mileage Dodge Neon SRT-4 since long before the PSN hacking incedent.

Bring the numbers of American, European, and Japanese cars in the UCD into line with each other. I know that'll probably make it even harder to find those Stageas I want, but it's annoying to look for a certain car (or set of cars) for months and find mostly JDM rubbish/filler instead.

And then when you do find it, it has 50,000 miles, resulting in engine wear you'll never be able to fix (pretty significant at higher HP levels).

Demos:

In previous GTs, the demos were in the Replay Theater, ready to view anytime. I know I'm probably alone in this, but I want that back!

I wish it would hurry up so we can move onto a 1.12 wish list thread. Oh and Bathurst race track of course.

Online lobby description. I don't know if someone has said this before but I'd like lobbies to have a description that's pops up when pressing some button on said lobby. One that is personally typed up by the lobby's host. This could be great for allowed cars and such.

More individual stuff for your car like

  • ingame stickers to put on your car with scale function (Castrol, Goodyear etc.) + upload function for own pictures
  • individual license plates (like in Mafia II)
  • colours for interieur
  • more rims
  • more wings
  • accessoires (rally-style foglights, wheel case extensions etc.)

heavy trucks, tanks

A "modd my car 100%" button - doing all tunings, buying all tyres etc.

- Have Justin change the oil on used cars before he sells them to you.
- Option to opt out of watching Billy Joe change my oil.
- Option of having purchased car go straight to the garage instead of watching it roll up, asking if you want to get in it now and clicking ok for the new paint chip.
- When reassigning controller buttons any button can do anything.
- Import the rest of the cars from GT4 into the game, I know they'll be standards but thats ok.
- Ability to pass off host status in online lobby.
- Ability to race custom tracks in reverse in online lobby.
- Oil change option in online lobby.
- Engine swaps
- Lower a few of the Gold times in license tests... :p

edit:
heavy trucks, tanks
I would love to have a few 1 ton trucks in there, and a new seasonal event to go with it called "Dually Showdown".

I want, for premium cars, for after-market dashboard gauges to appear after I purchase them placed-in/bolted-to my dashboard or hood (in the case of a hood-mounted tach with red-line light, say.) Digital speedo, last and best lap times in a little LED display, gear, position, etc. All looking like they are a part of the car and not just some floating number. Cherry pick desired gauges and pay to have them put in.
This way I can still get info I want without having the full HUD on, and it'll feel more subversive.
