Suzuka Circuit Weather Change (20 Laps)​

Welcome to the second race of the series! This is the first race in the series where your position after the race counts towards the number of points your earn. In other words, this is the first race that matters.

A nice twist in this race is that weather change will be on, so be prepared to race on ANY conditions. ;)

I hope I'll be able to practice tonight. If I do I'll let you know what times I am getting. I am donating blood before the race on Saturday so if I don't do well that will be my excuse.

Meh... I was hoping for a little bit more activity for this series. If less than 5 of you show up for the next race, I'm afraid I'll have to simply cancel the series.

If you do cancel the series I am still going to continue even if its just against BleedBlue.

I ran 2 quick sessions on Suzuka Weather Change. The first session was overcast. I quickly noticed that the tires don't really seem up to the task. Once I stopped over-driving the tires I got into a pretty good rhythm and my best laps were around 2'... damn, now I can't remember if it was 2'37, or 2'27... I think it was 2'37.9. I think I could have gotten a little more, but I had no confidence in the tires and going into the gravel at Suzuka is brutal. The esses were tricky also, in 3rd you are hitting the limiter and in 4th you fall out of the powerband unless you can carry some speed, and the CS tires don't let you carry much speed.

The second session has nice sunshine and either PD has done some good track temp physics, or my mood was made better by the weather because the tires didn't seem as bad. I still had trouble in the esses and it was really hard to get 130R right, but I was regularly doing low 2'38s and my best time was a 2'36.1. The tires seems to wear noticeably after only about 6-7 laps and my times started dropping.

If we get any rain it should make for a really interesting race.

Hopefully, this series can go on. Unfortunately, as I've mentioned before, I can't keep on delaying races due to other commitments. If the series does get cancelled, then somebody else can take charge. :)

Ill have a go tonight to see where im at after my WSGTC pre season race 👍.

My time on dry track is 2'38, dry and warm is 2'36, so if you are getting a 2'40 in semi-wet you are doing good.

Stock Meaning everything, its run on "tuning prohibited" and fully ran in is 265bhp (Or atleast thats what mine is) and on CS tyres.
 
Dinner is running late and I have no practice what so ever so I'm going to skip this week's race. I'll be back next week if we're still running.

Came back and connected to see the results, and found the series is postponed. Hope that it is a small emergency and nothing too serious penguin. More time to practice because I was sick all week and just practiced a little bit.

Thats what happened to me after not being able to race with you guys in the pre season race... instead I picked up the parents from a pub and found a totaled Focus round a corner.

Since there is no race scheduled for this week I am going to be catching up on the new seasonals and doing some top speed tests in the VW 1200 '66 on Saturday. If anyone wants to do some racing online, either practice with the Scirocco, or something else, send me a message on PSN. I should be on from 4pm - 6pm PST.

Hmm maybe I might after the WSGTC pre season race and I just thought of something if someone hits you by mistake theyll have to say "Im Sorry, Im_Sorry" :lol:.
 
The reason I have this name is because I used to send PMs after every race in Prologue to everyone that I had any contact with and someone suggested I just change my name to Im_Sorry so I didn't have to keep sending PMs.
