Maybe NASCAR has their own terminology, but there are four quarter panels on a car. I've heard race announcers refer to them as front and rear fenders as well as front and rear quarter panels. Then again, I've often heard commentators talk about the "front nose" and the "rear tail" of a car, so who knows what to make of what they say?
EDIT: ^^^ Everybody knows blurring or bleeping things or talking about them in a "safe" way will prevent children from fixating on them. Havent you noticed that no one ever uses swear words any more, and that teens no longer have any interest in cigarettes, alcohol or sex? Censorship makes the world a better place. Perhaps they should start censoring unpopular political and economical ideas too.
