Registration still open for this? With no tuning allowed, I might dive into this until the Miata series gets going again...

Just went out after 10 laps of a dry Suzuka I did a 2:32.269 as my best with my best to worse ranging from that to 33.5 :D. (Not including offs which went down to 35s)

Now Im testing on 30% wet Suzuka and ill edit in my times ;). Only did a few laps but they ranged from 35.6 and 36.6.

Also my colours are final for sure now they are Verde lthaca (Green) / Black Mica.

EDIT:

Instead of the usual qualifying procedures, this time, we are going to have a qualifying race, since I had to guess who was fastest in the Pre-Season Race.

The race is a simple 2-3 lap race around Suzuka, flat out all the way. Your position will determine your place on the starting grid.

I offically quit, 5-10 times in a row getting incompatibilty to host which I never ever get is total nonesence. Either get a better host like LancerEvo to host so maybe we can see if its that if not im sticking to my decision as I run too many series to be getting bogged down at 1-2am. (Thurdaday quali for WSGTC, Friday WSGTC race(s), Saturday Quali for Pure JGTS and RX7 TCs and this, Sunday Pure JGTS race(s) RX7 TC races and Ruf RGT quali/race)

Sorry but I just cant do it anymore im sick to death of this being the only series I cant or struggle very hard to join, it could be lounges to blame but we race lounges in WSGTC and I join that fine.
 
I should change my PSN ID to I'm Sorry. I spaced out about the formation lap and rear-ended True Blue I believe. Apologies if I did damage.

Race just went downhill from there. Someone had an off and came sliding back onto the track right in front of me on (I believe) the 6th lap, so I had to pit in early to repair. Then 2 laps later I spun off into a rail doing damage again. Gotta love Suzuka in the wet :crazy:

Then to top it all off, I got an on-call page about halfway through the race...

Hope I didn't wear out my welcome, and I hope I do better next race.
 
^^You didn't have much more luck in my series Paul, but if Penguin's alright with it, I'd be willing to try hosting.

Paul, we'll take another look at your connection problems, see if we can sort that out! If we can find some time (preferably outside the weekdays), we'll see how you do if LancerEvo7 hosts a race.

Can't complain too much about the understeer. No worse than what I would expect from a front-wheel drive car. In fact, I'd say it turns in quite well for a front-wheel drive car. Of course, if you want less understeer we could run on Sports tyres :sly:
 
Results for Race 1 is up!

Those have been absent without notice for two races will be automatically disqualified if you don't show up for the next race. The Points System will change following that.
 
I hope we can have a race with paulmac2k9 this week. I need to practice Laguna Seca with this car, I seem to remember doing a lot of laps in a 'Vette and an Evora, but no FF cars recently. If anyone wants to really mess me up, take out the markers on the right side of the track just before the first corner, I brake too late and go into the gravel every time once those markers are gone. Maybe during practice I should look for something else to use as a backup.

Welcome to the third race of the series! This is going to be a relatively close race considering that this is the shortest track that we've race on, so hopefully we'll have a bit more racing against each other.

If you have been absent without a word since Race 1 or before, you MUST attend this race (or at least notify me that you'll not make it). Otherwise, you will be automatically removed from the drivers list and the Points System will change following that.

I'll see you tomorrow at the track. I entered school this week, again for another semester.
I won't miss another race, but I can't do a lot of practice in weekdays, so I will only practice previous to the race.

I just did a few laps. Best time was a 1'48.370. I am guessing that paulmac2k9 could do around a 1'35. Hopefully he can stay connected to the lounge this time. It really understeers a lot, but I guess we are used to that.
 
I don't know if it was my driving style, but I was having problems with oversteer at Suzuka. I full-out spun twice during the race.
 
Just realized I'll have to miss the race tonight. Going to a Father Daughter dance with my little girl at 6. See you guys next week.

Damn, my best so far is a high 1:49. This track is b**** on comforts. I think I have 1:46's in me, though.
