Pre Race update: 1:08.368

Post Race:
I guess it would have been a better fight for first if i would have went for a 2 stop strategy like everybody else. the last 5 laps of both stints had me struggling on tyres a bit.

Messed up on my out lap i hit the wall on cold tyres...that kinda disrupted my rythm a bit. But i still managed to lap an average between 1:10-1:11 even on worn rubber.

What happend to sersjanten90 and the bograt? two more competitors would have been more fun.

P.S: Sorry for that hit on the hairpin Ade. Tried to dodge to the inside line, which you took as well ~_~

Good racing all round! ...and I think the track held up well for a 48 lapper :sly: shame my tyres didn't!

Anyway, its the first Club event next week, so 2 30 minute races in the Evora 👍

The new track should be up by the time you read this for downloading :)

1 race down, 2 to go this weekend 👍 👍

Great racing tonight gents, really enjoyed it. I knew I was going to be battling with Sers again at some point, and our pit strategies made that happen in the last few laps. Well done Sers, your strategy was better than mine.👍👍
 
yes nice battle again with ade. I looking forward to next race hopefully we will continue the battle then.

well thats weird...
my entire race was just showing 5 racers with sers and jamesy missing in the standings. Don't know how that happend, I hope I didn't drive unclean for those two since they practically didn't exist for me.

I think that happened last time, Jamesy couldn't see Kolden....hmmm

Just so you all know, I'm Remote B Specing while at my parents this afternoon :)

Not everyone has their Drivers available :eek:

First time I've done the 'remote' over the internet from a PC before, I quite like it, not sure I'd want to leave my PS3 on all day while at work though!

If anyone is interested, and you're free for about an hour, I'll open my room for a quick practice/shakedown for the Friday's race?

If it proves popular, I will run this on a regular basis...bearing in mind I know we racing in other series and I don't wish to 'over-do' everyone's GT time :crazy:

Any known reason for this driver disappearance? The funny thing is on my Grid i started on 2nd position even thought i should have been third (finished second for that matter as well).

I constantly read that people should clear their cache before each race, so could it be a cache problem? I might have forgotten to clear my Cache before the race. In Monza everybody showed up. I didn't clear my cache either there, but it was my first online race.

I might go over to the Q&A and ask there if there is a known solution to this.

I'm pretty sure we all clear our cache's out, I've always thought it's a server issue - if one person takes longer to connect, they seem more likely to have people missing, or prehaps its when the servers log each one of us in, if 'your' network enviroment is lower than the other person's, you don't see them???

My settings detect and 'Standard' for both race and voice when checking the network....
 
im in for friday mate. hopefully i will be a bit quicker this week
