Andrew Brooks (Deafsun) holds on with the rarely seen Hards at the end strategy to come 2nd in the final race and win the Americas region, after both Brazilian players disconnected near-simultaneously with 3 laps to go, including Bonelli who had dominated up until that point.

Gutted for Bonelli, that disconnect was utterly devastating for someone who had dominated the entire event up to that point.
 
I think that's the first time Brooks has benefitted from bad luck on a live event, rather than being slapped with it.

That was... quite the stream too.
 
Honda fan Valerio Gallo wins the EMEA region, placing 1-1-2 behind only Serrano in the final race. Santos won the final race on the road but was DQ'd after coming in on lap 1 - they were supposed to run each compound for at least 2 laps. Drumont did the same thing with the same result. Labouteley had been his closest competitor, starting out 2-2, but he started at the back in the last race, was punted off on lap 5 by Alunni, and came into the pits to retire.

And finally (after I went to bed...) Seiya Suzuki wins APAC in a clean sweep by staying clean and fast as everything got messy behind him.
