Hahahaha that was such a good game!! We (NSW) were always gonna win that.. From the second Pedro got flattened off the first hit up I knew we had it ;) hahaha

Back on topic, I've had this mclaren for a while now.. So I should have a decent starting point hahaha

Well I managed to break one in last night and do a quick tune, just guessed at and tried one transmission, think I need a lower top speed on it. I was pretty confident in it until I looked at the leaderboard. Might try Monday night to try a different trans.

Whats the max HP on the MP4? I've got 296 miles on mine and its at 870bhp after oil change and engine rebuild, but i've read it goes upto 880? Is that right?

Okay, thanks. I guess i've just got to put more miles on it then. Been letting it run in B-Spec for the last few hours.
 
Karo please test MP4 again without a wing and tell me the difference cause mine didint have one when i tried to post a fast time.It was in the begining of my drag tuning days!!!

Before I added a wing my best was 9.338, added a wing and it went down to 9.322 or 3, and played with the trans down to where I'm at now. So I'd say .015 seconds from my findings. I'm using the wing that doesn't change the looks of the car...the type A I guess the big ugly wing is the same ?
 
Looks like Bob's got some work to do. I may even let him have a go at tuning it for me. Surely he can't do too much worse than last place. :lol:

Thanks man, I think there is another 0.001 or 0.002 left to gain, I'm gona try a few more different gear sets to see what I can get, as you can see in the 2nd previous results run I was able to get a very low 0-100 and that was using a starting final of 3.000, but it seems to slow down in 6th or 7th though.
I also had hard time with the suspension on this car was strugling to figure out how it needed to be set up and couldn't get a 0-60 lower than 2.433, then I looked down at my feet and played with my toes and all of a sudden it got faster :lol:

Edit: havn't improved my overall 1/4 time just yet, but did manage to get a faster 0-100 time with slightly different gear ratio

Now I just need to figure out how to get my 0-60 as low as yours Karo without making my 0-100 slower.
