How much damage would you like to see in our races?

Ballast use and Power limters can be used as much as you want.

And it should be good fun, first practice race is tomorrow.

My class C is also running 1:11's and my fastest is 1:10.6 so far. 1:10.2

Wow. You guys are flying. I guess I need to get a bunch of laps in and get my car to stick in those corners. I'm at 1:11.5-8

I don't know if you now about tuning but here is the setup I have on my car atm.

Thanks man. I'm just trying to learn how to tune. I have the basics but that's it. I'm gonna try your setup compared to mine and see how I do.
 
And I will have to use my friends playstation tomorrow, hopefully his controller isn't bandy. Gonna still be using my account. Might have to pull out of practice race early, will have to see how long it goes on for. :) Hopefully the actual race is on some other day than a Wendsday or a Sunday. But as I said, don't hold the whole thing up for me :D

That by the way was with a B- class. Can you guys tell me what you are getting with your B-class. I still don't believe I am making the most out of my MX-5 B-Class version. :\ Or am I?
 
I'm gonna go at it hard as soon as I get off work and I'll let you know how I'm doing.
 
Hey there Jack, am using MOST of your tune in that my tune shop doesn't sell a six speed transmission like the one you have installed in your '95 NA, j. Where did you get it? Did the shop special order it for you?
 
I'm not sure what my b-class best time is yet but i will have a quick blast ina bit and let you know.

Are you using the same model that I am using?
The tranny is just the fully customisable one from the tuning shop.

The race is today at 6pm I meant 24/06/12.

Jack, model has been checked & rechecked. model mx-5, VR- Limited (NA,J) '95. Maybe variations in different editions of the game. But , I paid 20k for another 5spd tranny. So I used your finals & run mostly mid 1.10's .1.10.123 best . Looking to get into the 9's shortly as I've only done 50 laps with your set up. As I've heard it said before -no worries - as they say in the states , no biggie.
 
I just checked my car and guess what.... it has a 5 speed too. :banghead: again. You can ignore the 6th gear ratio as 1-5 still fit.

Sorry guys been updating for the past hour, turns out my friend never played this game so I have to install all the updates. xD. Will get on as soon as I can but don't hold anything up for me! ;)

That would be great as I am available all through the evening on both those days. However, I will still try to get on ASAP. Internet connection went just 5 min ago, so I had to start over. -_-. However it restarted with it half ways through so almost done. ;)
 
I have about 45minutes available for this practice session so if your here before then I will see you.

Bit quite tonight, next practice will be on another day (Not Sunday or Wednesday) and a bit later, maybe 8-9pm GMT.

I think American Central Standard time is 6 hours behind Greenwich Mean Time.

So If we raced at 9pm GMT 3pm CST.

And take work off to play GT5, haha nice 1 xD

I don't understand how to set the final gear twice? It won't give me these ratios with my transmission. I know there is a trick I just don't know it.
 
You have to set the 1st final gear before anything, then the max speed. Then you can do the induvidual ratios and the 2nd final gear.... so
1) Reset ro default
2) Set Final 1 (3.400)
3) Set Max Speed (112mph)
4) Set Final 2 (3.000)
5) Set induvidual ratios.

Step 4 & 5 can be done in any order. All that is important is that you set final 1 before adjusting the top speed slider.

This transmission works for Tsukuba Circuit, so If you want it for a longer track then all you have to do is adjust Final 2.

Hope thats not to confusing.
 
Thanks. I think I got it figured out now. I'm running 1:11.1 consistently with an occasional 1:10.8. Need to put in some laps and do some fine tuning now.
 
I can't get on tomorrow but Thursday I will be up for some practice laps.
Hopefully we get a few of us next practice sesh.
