How much damage would you like to see in our races?

Ok I will be putting up a poll for damage. Heavy - Light - None.

I will be voting for heavy as It makes people drive safer and like toother said a lap or two in the pits in one race will make you not want to be in pits for the next one.

bdubclub shame you cant make it on sundays as the more the merryer will let you know if anything happens on another day though.

luv ta drive will send you a FR when I get online.

And pappa I have already created MMRC account that all these races will take place in (Another idea stolen from you :lol:) But thanks anyway for the offer 👍

Do you have any of the 1.8's in an American version. I only race in cockpit view and I'd like to get one with the drivers seat on the left.

I have had a look and all I seem to have is right hand drive. If you know the models of the left hand drive ones then I would be able to check much easier.


And I now have wednesday nights free so can organize races for that day also.
 
all the ones I could find were right hand drive. Looks like I'm out of luck...

Has anyone started turning practice laps at tsakuba yet. I've been running 1.11's with a car tuned for class C
 
My class C is also running 1:11's and my fastest is 1:10.6 so far. 1:10.2

No Engine Tuning just bolt on parts.
The brake balance is setup for driving with no ABS.
 
Originally in the first post there was a list of the versions of the mx-5 we are allowed to use. Has that rule been changed? If it has I would guess that everyone is just going to use the newest roadster that's available in the NCD. I can't remember what it is off the top of my head

That Roadster is kind of slow compared to some of the models in the UCD, I have found at least.

I can put all the models back up if you like but basically it is all of the standard models only. :)

Current poll is favouring having damage set to Heavy.

And Takumi, great to have you here mate. I will sign you up, but it is for all classes not just one, so you are best of building a car for each class. 👍

"NA" "NB" "NC" or generation by year eg. Gen 1: 89-93 Gen 2: 94-97-Gen 3: 99-present. Can you please elaborate further? Thanks.

Hi, sorry I must've missed this question.

All models standard models of MX-5 are allowed so basically just 1st & 2nd Gen. I will add this to OP.

Just to clarify are you interested and want to sign up? Sorry again I didnt see you post.

If the Eunos Roadster J-limited (NA) 91' you have is a standard model (From the Used car dealerships) it is allowed.

Unfortunately if it is the Premium model (from the New Car Dealership) then it is not allowed sorry.

I think we will be doing a practice session this sunday at 6pm, you are more than welcome to join.

I noticed another MX-5 in the Dealership. It was an 89'. Is that allowed or is there absouloutely no Dealership models allowed?
 
But what is the difference between my one and the one in the used car dealership? O.o

I dont know if there is much difference but just incase the premiums are better than the standards. If we are use standards then it is more equal and fair.

Right, I will keep my eye out for the next few days for a Standard version. Keep me signed up as I am sure I will eventually be able to participate. Just to let you know. I will not be able to take part in events on Wednsdays and Sundays due to me having business to attend to. If you could choose any other day than these that would be great. But if you can't dn't worry, don't hold the whole thing back for me :D

The standard models appear in the used dealership quite frequently so you shouldn't have a problem finding them.

And at the moment I have scheduled a practice session for this sunday. For me this is the only day I can ensure I can make it.
 
Probably won't be able to make that practice session, I might be able to use my friends playstation as I do call over to him before I do my business. I will have to see, but don't count on me showing up on sundays all the time.

Rear wings are prohibited and comfort soft tyres are the limit.

Quick question. Can I have my car under the weight limit but add ballast? Also can it be over the up limit and have the power limiter tuned down? Thanks for setting this up btw. I can't wait.
