Corsa Cup test race about to take place.

2nd and 4th my best showing this season (although not hard with only 9 cars). Hopefully more compete next week.

Monza (Change Weather) will be run. Settings:

0% Weather (perfect sunshine)
0% Changeability (always sunny)
80% Surface Water at track reset, around 50-60% by race start, always falling

Corsa Cup testing was a pretty good success. The cup will be invite-only, and I will send PMs round to the chosen ones with series info and whatnot. :sly:

There will be another test meeting next week after BTCC, and I intend to get going with the Cup in 2 weeks if there is enough interest. 👍

Done some testing, brake distance per lap is huge.:crazy:Challenging conditions I found but drive-able.👍

It gets easier lap by lap and with more cars on track it dries up pretty fast .

Yeah it dry's about 10% per lap with one car, that was starting with 75%. I did 2:20(65-55%), then 2:15(55-45%), 2:11(45-35%), 2:08(35-25%), 2:06 (25-15%), 2:04.640 (14-4%)

More time to find, was hitting limited a bit too sooner and broke too early at times. I reckon 2:01 possible with dry track.👍

how where the other races after i left?

i had a lot of fun with the corsa, but you should choose tracks with a shorter straight, IMHO. also i think such cars can be raced with real damages on.

did you had the draft set to weak when we tested? it seemed to have a very big effect on such clunky cars....

Just the one race, which was good fun.

I'll probably have one round on a track with a GVE-length straight, just to mix it up a bit. There will be handling tracks too.

Draft was set to Weak yes, do you think it should be Strong instead?

You might want to be careful and don't jinx it otherwise you might be flooded with complaints. There might be only a few things I might want to point out (not going to be naming anyone on the thread). On race 2, _________, pitted before the window was open (no big deal I guess) and Race 1, ___________ was being too aggressive.

I don't think it should be strong. On weak it was pretty powerful and helped a lot. Me you and SkengD all together side by side was great fun. If it was on strong I think it would be too much, and a bit too easy to overtake on straights. But that's my view.

Good nights racing, bit bumpy in race 2 but no incidents I saw.👍

Did it matter how we entered the pits? Its quite hard to enter when racing flat out it seemed. I was normally out there on my own when I pitted for both races, and both times messed up and almost crashed.:ouch:

Nope, so long as you don't take someone out when you come in then pit entry is how you like, on any circuit.

Pit exit however is always 2 wheels inside the white line. If there's no line then be sensible and keep left/right, depending on track.

Exit pitline is pretty narrow, but I think I had 4 wheels within the pit exit, I was trying to anyway.👍

i've been uber attentive since i damaged joetruckv8 in S1....

concerning the opel corsas, the draft was TOO strong even on weak, that is what i meant :P

Ill take a second look for you r35 .

Karsten the window was 6 - 9 so end of lap 5 would be too early.
