FITT Wagon & SUV Tuner Challenge

I'll be putting my Stagea on share soon, I forgot to do it last night.

Also my Stagea does not have a customisable LSD or center diff as stated in the parts list. I'm not going to edit the post because then it'll say "edited on the 16th" and I don't want to make it look like I'm editing the tune post-deadline. :P:tup:

Edit: Battlewagon on share.

Sorry guys, I'm going to have to withdraw my 450PP entry. Just don't have any time to put into it at the moment...:scared:

So Sunday at 11:59 pm or 12:00 am(minute after Saturday ends)

As stated in the OP, when Sunday end wherever you are in the world, cars should be posted. I will call the official cut off when I wake up on Monday morning at 6:30 am (eastern time) and check this thread. Cars that are not posted will be removed from the tuner list.

What times you getting? I think I can get a 1:21 out of mine, since I've only been running 515PP, as I just found out.

1:21.450 is the fastest lap that I have been able to lay down with the DS3. I can consistently run 1:21.7's, so at least I made the car predictable. I hate the car with the G27, so good luck to any testers using a wheel.

We're pretty much even, then. My fastest is a 1:21.442. And I think I also (sort of) got the hang of 4WD LSD tuning…at least, for the front bit. The back is still covered in a lot of murky bits and pieces. But hey, 2 years into GT5, I'm finally getting somewhere with these damn things! :dopey:

To testers, I forgot to add reminder for 525PP entry Nissan Stagea 25t RS 4, due to the 5 speed close ratio used, on the main straight, extra care will be needed if the car reaches rev limit - might need to feather the throttle so the engine rev won't bounce, only for a short moment before braking hard for 1st turn.

Eh, screw this, I give. Deep Forest is really far from being a track that's within my comfort zone, and to get this thing right for this track, I'll need more than just random numbers for the dampers and diff. I love the car, it's just the track that get's to me.

Car's on share, I'll post tune ASAP.

Edit:

Gearbox final:
3.740/2.500

That's a bit small, but you can read it.

Yeah I mentioned before that I was ditching the xBbB, no way I can make it fun to drive around TGTT.

[Interesting stuff to come :)]

Jacked up my wrist pretty good patching my tire on Friday so I won't be able to toss a car in for 450. :indiff: I will be sharing this under my DigitalBaka PSN as soon as I send it to myself. I should have most people already friended but I'll double check momentarily.

Can't make it. I tried tuning today for 3 hours and i wasn't satisfied and I don't post half done cars so I'm out. I'd be glad to participate in future events! Sorry, but my life gotta in the way:annoying:

This car was built for the FITT Wagon/SUV Tuner Challenge at Deep Forest Raceway. These 4wd wagons are really difficult to remove all of the understeer. I went extremely aggressive with this tune. It drives very nice with my DS3, but with a wheel, it is a handful. Ride height proved to be very important at Deep Forest. Lower ride heights will struggle to keep up with the many hills and bumps on this circuit. Toe angle was also very useful to encourage rotation. I used quite a bit of it.

Testing started on 525pp, through 5 so far. Man, these cars must have been frustrating to tune, cos they're frustrating to drive!!

Not for me. My Stagea was fun as hell to tune.

I at least learnt something from my time in the Audi, and I sort of had fun, despite the understeer. 4WD drifting like you're in a rally is great fun in that thing, if a bit too graceful.

Speaking of which, note to testers. If my car seems to over rotate, you damn well leave it alone and just step on it, ok? You'll never experience it again in that again.
