Ugh...did someone call ludicrous?

Must be a blast to drive, I can only imagine. Its a dream of mine to drive some autos like that. Especially in a wonderful place like Pikes Peak.

P.S. Nice you got it! Now you owe me ya caa.

Yes the cars a beast and its great that you know the place

If your feeling really daring you should make your own thread in this forum about it.

I want the car to be in gt6 but thats a longshot ive sent a few emails but no replys with details about the car with background info

Since I spent money on pictures I feel like I need to show it off more

Just picked up yesterday, 220rwkw '97 Toyota Chaser. Loving it! ;)

Noice! 👍

Very clean looking. Must be worlds different than your Impreza.

World's quicker and more exciting to drive, that's for sure. Never had to worry about rain with the impreza, this is a whole different story .

Always like a tight Civic.

But let me ask you, aren't Eclipses rather heavy, especially at the front? Somewhere along the line I got a poor opinion of them, go ahead and convince me to reconsider! :)

Civics aren't usually my style but his is pretty clean.

FWD turbo eclipses can be front heavy, but I have a GSX which is awd... Weighs ~3200lbs and the weight is split pretty evenly. Handles very tight and is fun in the snow :) Most people don't like eclipses because 99% of them have been ruined with body kits and cheap mods.

I don't know if that's true. I love the style of them, but hate the poorly designed engine. It makes great power, and can make much more than that which you have to respect, but DSM quality left such a sour taste in peoples mouths that its hard to like the car.

Poorly designed engine? 4G63 is a beautiful design. If you're referring to crank walk, its very rare. The interior build quality is lacking in some places, but by no means poor. I was actually fairly surprised by how nice the stock stereo is, power seats, and over all comfort.

Edit: Well some people may have been turned off of DSMs by the 1G. They were built rather poorly on the inside, but the motor was still bullet proof. DSMs can be reliable. As with modding any car you get to choose two: Cheap, fast, reliable. Most DSMers don't choose reliable...

Once again my ´97 A3, now with summer tires on alloys

audikp.jpg

It has now 96312 miles on the clock and still the 150hp 1,8T engine :sly:.

I thought about chiptuning it to 180hp, but that would increase the insurance to much and the mpg would also get worse (Now i get about 30mpg).
So i keep it with 150hp and my nice cassette radio :dopey:
