Going home now to play with some steward toys and maybe even get in a Stamina Series race tonight.
 
I seem to have lost all sound in my GT5 game. It happened during the great Kart races last night... I could still hear microphones, but all the engine noise, etc, cut out.

Just fired up the machine and... Still no sound. Settings show it should have some sound.

Any ideas on what to check?

Re-run the sound setup from the XMB. Unplug and replug everything. Turn the volume up louder. ;)

How and to what is your PS3 connected?

Running off to get son from soccer then will check XMB.

PS3 is wired directly to the FIOS incoming signal box in the corner.

It's a Standard that only shows up in the UCD.

There's a lookup site that will tell you how many days before it'll show up in your UCD. Do a search for GT5 Car Lookup. I'm on my phone or I'd link it.

Somehow I must have had a cable brush the front of the audio stuff (Dolby 7.1 something something) and it hit something other than 'speakers' and that was it.

I am relieved and wife will be happy.

Sorry for the delay, I've been driving most of the day.

Thanks for your interest!

We would love to have you in the league. Here's what you need to know and do in order to join:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the S.N.A.I.L. OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide.
Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You take the S.N.A.I.L. OLR and Racecraft Test
2. You run the Time Trial. (NOTE: The tires selected for this have more grip than our current tire regulations allow, but please follow the directions exactly anyways).
3. You PM kcheeb with your time from the time trial (no Sunday racing until this is completed).
4. We assign you to the division that we feel will give you the closest competition. kcheeb will add you to the drivers list.
5. We send you a you a PSN friend request from the corresponding SNAIL_Division1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 account. That PSN account's lounge is where you will race on Sunday night.
6. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

The original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread.

Please note that we often race DLC from three add-on packs:

Racing Car Pack
Course Pack
Twin Ring Motegi Pack

If you don't have these add-on packs, you will need to sit out the races in which they are used.

If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.
To avoid duplication, the currently claimed combinations can be found here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.

Ok, not a big write up, but a little update to The SNAIL Video Channel. Currently the youtube website will be the the mainstay of TSVC. Due in short order however, will be a web site dedicated to broadcasting SNAIL content. Anyone with replays from all SNAIL events, I would like to work with you on collecting replays to be posted up on youtube. I'm sure we can work something out with google drive. All people that have their replays placed on the account will be the subject of the video. I will also work on getting as many other replays up that I can from other divisions Sunday night racing. Though this will all be dependent on work load and help. Speaking of, I would like to say thanks to Driftin, he's a silent partner in all of this and I am sure I will be getting his money worth out of his PVR. And don't worry DZ, we will get ya rolling on something.

Nice video rally, touge battle between nic and rally up on the YouTube channel

Edit: I have an idea for the videos that we put up on the channel, maybe put one video from each division for each Sunday, and then the sixth race could be a lap comparison. Also for each race we could either put the view of the racer with the most passes in a race or have the closest battle/group in the race.

In my house there is only 1 PS3... In my house there are 2 users of said PS3. User #2 just got a new game so therefor I must share. I have gotten access this evening and I now can report that the D4 data has been completed!!

So until my daughter finishes her game, I will be in share mode. :yuck:
