Please don't delete this.....It took me 4 hours to put it together.

Here is a lengthy showing of some of the things that GT5 should have to make it the perfect race sim.

Tracks

Even though Gt has done well with it's selection of tracks....

Circuit de La Sarthe I
Circuit de La Sarthe II
Circuit de Valencia
Daytona International Speedway Superspeedway
Daytona International Speedway The Road Course
Fuji Speedway 2005
Fuji Speedway 2005 GT
Fuji Speedway 80's
Fuji Speedway 90's
Fuji Speedway F
Infineon Raceway Sport Car Course
Infineon Raceway Stock Car Course
Laguna Seca Raceway
Nürburgring Nordschleife
Suzuka Circuit
Suzuka Circuit East Course
Suzuka Circuit West Course
Tsukuba Circuit
Tsukuba Circuit (wet)
Twin Ring Motegi East Short Course
Twin Ring Motegi Road Course
Twin Ring Motegi Super Speedway
Twin Ring Motegi West Short Course

Lets look at one from Forza 2 that are too important to be missed out.

# Mugello Autodromo Internazionale
# Nürburgring Nordschleife
# Road Atlanta
# Sebring International Raceway
# Silverstone Circuit
# Road America (as DLC)

These are some of the most important race tracks in the world. Some of the greatest auto races take place there and to miss out on them is just horrible. (Richard Hammond from top gear if you caught that last line)

Cars

On the side of cars. GT has done this well for years and even though they never disappoint with what you do get, it hurts to know what you dont......Even what you lost!

Forza 2 cars that....well...Yeah... they are important enough to have to be in GT5.

1. Ferrari (Yes i know...but will it be as diverse as in Forza 2?)
2. Lamborghini
3. Porsche
4. BMW (No a respectable list)
5. Koenigsegg
6. McLaren

Here is a wiki article on some of the cars that were sent to Forza through updates.

Weather and Night racing

Back in GT3, we were introduced to rain....What happened? I'm more than certain that the CELL precessor can handle rain and night time racing. It's about time when wether conditions really make their way into the game.

Damage, wear and tear on the car.

On thing about me is i feel GT should hold off on damage till they are 100% certain that the game will have real life accuracy.

On the other hand, When your doing a rally stage.... I want the dirt to stick to the car....If you go through mud....The mud sticks to the car......If you go through a water crossing, The engine boggs down if to much gets in.

Temperature and elevation alters the HP of a car, i want GT to show that.

Ill add more to this later.

good list but really we don't know what gt5 is going to have. Considering the amount of cars in prologue, the advances we have already seen with online play, physics and already the ferrari card played. There would be a lot more suprises in store for gt5 i'm sure.

btw I don't recall there ever being a lamborghini in gt2/3

It only appeared in the Japanese version of GT3. Here is the JLOC Diablo in this Video

Notice there is no Lamborghini badging....That is because it was ran by the Japanese Lamborghini Owners Club in the JGTC.

^^^^ Good Pull....... I sure do remember that......But they do need E30's And Engine Swaps.... A little research goes a long way. and they need to have Drag stips 1/8- 1/14- and mile long track.

Motominded you do realise GT5 Prologue that is soon to be released is not full GT5?

Frankly we know very little about how many or what exact cars, tracks and features will be included, we can assume everything in GT5P will be in the full GT5 and some other tracks, cars and features that we have seen or heard in interviews about but we won't know for sure was is in GT5 for quite some time.

So how can you say all those cars and tracks are not in GT5? Unless of course you are confusing GT5 Prologue with the full GT5.

I do, as i am doing this write up for the actual GT5 of 2009.....I know none of this will be in Prolugue.... i was just brain storming my thought for the real deal game of next year.

Oh ok, but

Lost cars

These are cars that were in GT2 and GT3 but not in GT5....What gives?

*list*

Why do you call them lost cars not in GT5 and ask "What gives?" then?

Why does everyone insist that GT5 will lose to Forza if they dont have the same content. I mean the worst thing Polyphony can do is follow the in the lines of Forza by being similar. Its GT5, im pretty sure it will have more tracks and cars than youve seen in any game or real life racing series. Like they do have 10years of experience so im pretty sure they got every thing under controll. This is Polyphony were talking about not Electronic Arts, or Microsoft.

Say NO to damage!

Why can't people seem to be able to read announcements like this?
Please don't delete this.....It took me 4 hours to put it together.
Never mind the fact that we've already got these:
The fact that it took you four hours to compile your list means it this thread should stay open. I guess that if it took four hours to make this thread, this one, this one, this one and this one, then they should be allowed to stay open, too. I hate to break it to you, but if you used this, it would have taken you about four minutes.

The search function isn't just there to look pretty!

I have a Japanese Ver. still sealed in the box is the Lambo worth opening it for? Will JPN play on a US slimline?

Um Yes/No

i dont think the game will work on us ps2 unless you rig it to.

Cause they appeared in gt2 and gt3 but not gt4

What? Quite a few of those cars you listed as 'lost' were in GT4.

BTW you missed the most important 'lost' car of all that featured in GT2. ;)

I see my last comment was completely disregarded. I spent four hours looking for that stuff!

Thassssss weeeeak! Oh well Lambos dont win to often anyway... Or at all.

How do you know for sure that any of those cars you've posted as "not being in gt5" won't actually be there.

Do you know the future? Gt5 isn't going to be out for a good while still.

No, but maybe he can smell it. Like a sixth sense.

oh no not at all...Like i said, this is more of a what i think they should bring back.

I have absolutley no idea what will be in GT5.

Oooooh I gotcha broe

It's right at the top of the forums. When you make your next post, look just above the thread title, the part that says:

GTP Forums > Gran Turismo > Gran Tursimo 5 > Here is a list of the lost cars and improved tracks i wanna see in GT5.

The search function is directly above the search title. There should be a spot for text, a button marked Search and (Advanced). That's the search function.

Awesome thanx guys. I wont make that mistake again. I thought that was a google search, not a thread search.

How do you do that? Ive always wondered how!?
They teach you when you've been here at least three years.

I'm seeing the Hammer of the Mods coming down on this thread soon ...

Pressed the "Print Screen" button on my keyboard, open mspaint (or any other photoeditting software) and go edit-paste or Ctrl+V, then edit as you wish.

I'm on a laptop, too - probably a different one to your modl - but on the top row fourth from the right, there's a button marked PRTSC-SYSRQ. That's the button you want; translated, it means "Print Screen/System Requirements".

You forgot the Ford GT90 - that was in GT2, I believe - and I wouldn't say no to an even larger test track with a 25 degree camber and a total length of, say, 20km. I mean, I couldn't even hit 205 mph in an M5 in GT4 (only managed 202)! And somehow the SLR was slower than the Ford GT - irrelevant, I know, but just to make a point.

O yea, I got it. Its on 2 seprate buttons though and its a secondary funtion (I think) ill figure it out though thanks:dunce:
