yeah, you did read the title correctly. typical plot that I didn't remember until the very last moment.. 2 women, 1 man.. gypsies or romanians, whatever they are.. the women asked me outside, man asked if he could use the toilet. they tried to sell me a computer that could be bought for 1k from store for 3k, at that point, I returned inside and caught the guy stuffing his bag with my PS3 games and stuff. he tried to explain, mostly because I had pulled an axe from underneath my bed. ( yeah, I was pissed off, and rightfully so.). I told him that either he empties his pockets and bag, or I'll swing. he did so and after that I threw him out. only loss that I noticed afterwards was 512mb memory stick where i had my GT4 pictures. damn, I'm still shaking..:ouch::grumpy::mad:

All I can say is good thing you returned inside.

I guess a 512MB with some pictures is better than a whole PS3 + Games. Lady luck has a crush on you, Leo. 👍

Stupid question - why did you let him in your house in the first place?

Regardless, I'm glad everything mostly worked out.

they're clever.. if there's more than one of them ,they're up to no good. there had been warnings about little gangs like this in TV. those two women went outside to smoke and they said that if I'm interested of computer, I should listen there what they had to say.. then I heard the price and performance ( that's when I remembered the warning) , told them that I could get similar for 1k from local store and went back in, and caught the guy stuffing his bag with my PS3 etc..

Axe-wielding Leonidae? Awesome.

Did you get any names, maybe any descriptions or license plate numbers you could report to the police?

no.. nothing. I just chased that SOB out of my apartment and checked that my PS3 etc were still working.. and small memory stick like that isn't worth of police investigation..

don't underestimate desperate idiots.. because no-one expects them to do something that stupid, they can actually succeed in their attempt. :ouch: hell, I feel all paranoid now. I took my bike inside, and keep peeking out of the door and windows now.. :nervous:

Though I normally don't think much of it, now might be the time to think about a gun or some other form of defense. I'm merely suggesting this b/c I don't think using an axe is going to help your case should you use it.

it's harder to get a gun here than in US, luckily. otherwise they would had taken what they want with a gun pointing at my head.

I thought you might have been outside the US, but I wasn't sure. But, good point.

A axe... wow !
I have my PS2 stolen in that way, my cusin let a guy come in. When my cusin back to the garage where he lets the guy, the PS2 has gone with one controller and 1 DVD... in the same day the same guy stole my friend's PS2 too. It was about 5 years.

Crazy people around, still like already said, no strangers would be left in my house while im outside.

A bizarre situation to find yourself in no doubt. Good job you realised in time, can't imagine how angry I would be if they got away with it.

Yay for axes.

Wow. its a good damn thing you kept that Axe in your house. myself i collect swords, and i have one gun. its just a pellet gun but sure as hell looks like a Walther P90. as well i have a replica PPK that has confused a lot of friends.

But i keep my stuff in the basement so i shouldnt have to worry to much.

still glad you saved your stuff! sucks about the memory card but better that than anything else!

Yay for weapons!

Silly you for letting them in your house. What were you thinking?

Also, Obsidian, nothing is more dangerous (in that it is useless) than a pellet gun.

yea, it is totally useless, but i just got it because it was cheap, and looked cool, it came with a silencer (that actually makes it louder) and a red dot scope lol i thought it was pretty nifty and i had to have it. im all James bond now. lol.

and someone who doesnt know its a pellet gun wouldn't think twice. so it kinda works out. plus if i do shoot you it would hurt.. just a little but it would hurt.

Exactly. They wouldn't think twice about pulling their trigger before you pull yours. So they get a small cut on their arm and you get a hole in your body.

Lol so true.

Still though if im lucky enough to catch them unarmed.... i could COULD get away lucky...?

I don't let strange people inside my house. Even with repairmen and the like, i still lead them to where they're going. They know the drill though, and I think it'd be awkward having a job where you work inside peoples' homes. I don't know about most owners, but I always keep aware of what they're doing, whether I'm being friendly or not, and they know it.

I told my parents about this. Me and my parents agreed that you are very, very lucky. Good job you had that axe too.

hmmm
maybe i should invest in some form of weapon
all i have in the house is a very pointy arrow (no im not Robin Hood) and a boomerang which would do damage only to birds (not that ive tested that out or anything)

You told your parents that someone you "know" through a website got someone out of their house by wielding an axe?
