This thread was featured on the front page of Digg.com - nearly 40,000 people visited the site in 24 hours. And I must ask, what was going on on November 19, 2007? That's an enormous amount more visitors than I've ever seen on the site, including now, and I don't know of any big news or release on that date. Can someone enlighten me?

Party at Famine's house!Put it this way, when it's actually started to ship from preorders, I'm going on holiday for 4 weeks.
I think I may do the same Famine.
As a side note, is there a reason why the search function is disabled currently?

That's putting it lightly - searching our forum database is far and away the most computationally expensive operation our server is asked to do. I'm just doing everything I can to keep the site available and somewhat responsive.Presumably because it puts a fair amount of load on the servers.
