Cool. Does everything a Porsche Cayman does (and several things better, if reviews are to be believed), but you don't look like a complete banker in one.

Also, it looks fantastic.
 
good looks, great to drive whist still being comfortable, dosnt come attached to a dodgy image.

Very cool, but not quite cool enough to make sub zero.
 
Cool. It's a Lotus and Lotus are always cool (even the FWD Elan). Based on everything I've read and seen about the Evora is combines practicality, comfort, fuel economy, style and a wonderful driving experience all it one car. That makes it full of win.

For the doubters, wait 'til you see one. Whereas they began their portfolio selling street cars to fund their race cars, they now must sell luxury cars to fund their sports cars. Making mall, lightweight drivers-focused go-karts just isn't a viable business plan in the current market. This is pulling off enough Lotus while still making a comfortable tourer. I'll take one in white, please.

After the excitement of an all-new Lotus wore off, it's just cool. If you would've asked me 6 months ago, I'd have said sub-zero without a doubt.

I simply like the design of this car... It looks like a ''Mini Bugatti Veyron'' to me...

So my answer would be Sub-Zero... But have to drop it as it's not really my cup of tea... But I voted it cool!!!

Natural progression for Lotus after the Elise/Exige - certanly a much better direction that trying to build another Esprit and compete in the junior supercar market.

But I worry about the long term success of the Evora as it's way too expensive. Most people with c.£50-£55k to spend are going to look at a Caymen (or even a GTR) - the Lotus might be better to drive, but the Caymen for one is a known entity to put your money in to... and Porsche build quality is pretty much guarenteed. Of course you could also get a 1 year old 997 for £55k.
 
It's a good car, but the styling doesn't do it for me. It looks incomplete, or too simple. There's a lot of flat, empty space on this car's body panels.
 
The racing version of it is pure automotive pornography. I just love the way it looks.

The way I see it, they took a luxury car and simplified it and added lightness. ;)

If they took that line literally, they would never have made anything but the 7.....but we have the Espirit, Elan, Elite, etc

Hey you know it does resemble a Veyron a little bit, yea it's rated Cool by me also. I am curious about the HP and all that.

Sorry, but I'm not a huge fan of the looks, and I also have to make 2 teeny-tiny sub-components for this car... they are a complete pain in the hole to make therefore I dislike it on a suprisingly personal level.

It is a capable car though, can't deny that.
 
Abso-friggin-lutely sub-zero. I'd be more than glad to hand off my money to lotus to buy one, and I'd be more than happy to drive around in it.
 
Cool. It's a good car that does almost nothing wrong and just about everything right. It just doesn't have the little extra something sweet to make it sub-zero.

Except for the few, which designations I can't recall without searching for, I've never felt anything for a Lotus. But I suppose the ones I'm talking about are like the "Motorsport Elise" in GT4 or 111R(or S??). But even if I had the money to pick up one of those, I'd surely buy something else first, even if it didn't grip asphalt like it had suction cups for wheels. I don't feel any differently about this one. I guess they are just too small for me. If ever I was to own a mid engined car, it would damn sure be a Porsche or Ferrari before this, then again, those cost much more, and I would not be caught dead in a Boxter or Cayman. Not to say I would not drive the life out of one if given the chance though...
 
Ha :dunce: moment! Alright is the top speed governed to 160 or is that all Toyota managed to get out of that motor?

You do realise that's miles per hour and not kilometers per hour? 160mph isn't bad at all. If it sounds low, then it's more likely a gearing-related thing than a power-related thing.
