So as seen here > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CwS-FcgsFDA
It shows that the only customizable thing in the hole 800 standard cars are the car's color and a wing. How cool is that
?. And when it comes to the 200 primiums, you can't change the color of the wheel unless you change the wheel it self. Guys we need to take this seriously. Don't just go like you don't care! . It's self expression we're talking about here. Looks like the game is 100% focussing on just driving cars. Not how we drive them, just drive them. Am i the only one who's starting to feel numb about it? I mean its a game from 2010 not a 2000 PS2 game and it's our huge 6 years of development GT5. It couldn't get any worse

uh, yeah it is my friend. It's a racing simulation. And don't feed me any lines about how its more than that, or its about collecting cars, or celebrating the history of cars, that is just a GT fanboy's way of elevating the game and placing it on some sort of pedestal above other "sims" out there. At the end of the day the game is about beating the other cars on the track to the finish line. That is how you progress in the game is it not? Can you progress through the game without winning RACES?
Needed? of course not, we don't NEED anything. It is fine for that to be your opinion, but how on EARTH could it hurt the game to include it?....
Having a livery editor allows for SO many things other than just designing your car...
for instance...
With online gaming, you can setup racing leagues that race, say weekly. When setting up the league you can allow for certain restrictions on cars and modifications and such. Well, considering you're treating this as a RACING LEAGUE, race cars tend to have liveries. Now, say two members of the league want to run the same car, with a livery editor this is fine, as each race team can design their livery to their liking, with their choice of sponsorships and decals, and numbers. In this case, a livery editor adds IMMENSELY to the depth at which a driver can experience with their car. The race car is now YOURS and represents you...
It also allows you to represent cars that are not in the game to begin with...
for instance...

what could POSSIBLY be looked at as wrong, with being able to take existing cars and doing that to them with a livery editor??...
and then it allows you to create cars just for yourself...
like my take on the GT Academy Livery on a Viper ACR

The Fast and the Furious Supra...obviously not for everyone, but hey, its a movie car that i can "collect." I have all the cars from F&F1 in my garage in Forza

honestly i just can't see how being able to do this hurts a game in ANY way...
