ZZII, Best performace for the Cr?

I picked up the Tommy Kaira ZZII last night. It was in the Used car lot for 53,000 Cr. It is 1000Kg, 570hp, with 4WD.

Once I washed it and changed the oil I unleashed this car on the AI. Without any changes in tuning this car stomps on the competition. Braking and acceleration are outstanding.

After earning some credits and getting a feel for the car I decided to buy a set of Medium Racing tires, Chassis reinforcing/stiffening and a wing (one of the only standard cars I have been able to add Aero too.) Engine Upgrade 3 and Turbo Upgrade 3 are available, which could take the car to the 700hp range, but I feel that would be over kill at this point.

Now the car feels amazing. It feels like a 100% improvement over the normal car. This feels like the Escudo. I feel like I am cheating in some way by driving this car.


Who else has picked this car up? Is this the diamond in the rough?

You can also win this car with gold on the B licence, now if only it was premium it would be perfect.
 
That was always my favourite car in some of the older games, beautiful handling, glad it's good in GT5 too. I've not seen it yet, though have seen the ZZS, the one that is more like an Elise. The ZZII seems to be an awesome bargain at that price.
 
In GTPSP I beated 3 Enzos Ferraris with this beauty. Also, the fact that the ZZII has total traction is a very important factor to have in mind, as it is easier to control than other super-cars. I myself will probably pick up this car if I see it in the dealership, it's such a beast if modified a little ;)
 
Yes, mine is fully tuned up and is 743 bhp, 910kg. 1.22kg/bhp, or according to GT5's maths 1.20kg/lb. It has a better power to weight than my fully specced up P4.

So yes, I really do think this car is the best performance for the money.
 
So far I have beat every race that will allow this car (I am lvl18.) It is hands down the fastest, easiest to drive car. I still have not done all of the upgrades. The main reason is, I am happy with the 570hp performance.

But I agree with OP, ZZII is a beast. I am still waiting for it to show in the used dealer showroom.
 
Some kind of glitch? I saw the ZZII in the used car lot for waaaaay more than 53,000cr.
 
Has anyone tried to use this car in the GT All Stars? Do you think a fully tuned one is faster than a fully tuned 458?
 
This car has been around since at least GT2 and has always been outstanding. I prefer the ZZ-S, myself, but the ZZII definitely outperforms it. I remember liking it back in GT2 because it kind of looked like a McLaren F1, which was nowhere to be found in the game :P
 
This car was overkill in GT3 too (if I remember correctly). Massive hp in a light 4wd chassis, pretty much dominated any car in the game.

I have a similarly tuned 458 (600hp-ish, full Aero) and the ZZII would walk all over it. I think I won the All Star races by over 20sec each race.
 
One of my fav cars since GT2, was pretty much the best car in GT2 and 3 IMO. Will be keeping an eye out for it, would expect it to be more than 53k though!
 
Glad it's so cheap, once I see it I should be able to buy it after a couple of races even if I'm broke when it first turns up. Done that with quite a few cars around that price.
 
This is easily one of the best, if not the best street car in the Gt series. Great power, mid engined, 4wd, not to mention the handling and grip. And now it's extremely cheap!👍

This machine definitely would earn one of the top spots if there were ever a "top ten cars in Gt history" competition.
 
Hands down my favorite and fastest car! I've got it to 230 and still have alot of mods to put on it. Although if we're talking best car for the Cr. i'd have to say my Dn-x since i won it as a prize for free. :)
 
This car drifts like no other car I have used in the game!, for some reason though the point-output is not very high. Anybody else noticed this?
 
This car was awesome in GT4, and i'm sure it will be now. But 54,000cr. ? That's an epic steal!!! This thing is 4WD, and produces around 600hp. It feels like cheating to use the car, because its so cheap.
