I really want to experiment with harder compound tires.

As light as it can get, and as much grip as it is capable of, it'd be nice to use on longer races where you really need to conserve the tires.

Want to play around a bit with the center diff, add some downforce and maybe try and set it up to run on hard or medium slicks. I'll have to be careful with it, but at least I won't cook the tires in two laps.

Can you cook the tires in a five lap race? Because it seemed like they were going off. Or maybe it was just my driving. I was thinking about trying racing medium as well.

I know my Gallardo (760hp) can destroy a set of soft slicks in less than 5 laps.

Figuring that the ZZ-II is lighter, but with about as much power and adjustable downforce (I have not, and will not put a wing on my Gallardo) it should make more happen with less...

...theoretically of course.

I was able to go all gold in GT All-stars with said Gallardo and said roasted tires, so ideally, I'd like to be able to do the same in the ZZ-II, without as much drama due to dead tires.

So after spending about an hour getting the ZZII setup the way I wanted - I prefer a car with a little oversteer, I decided to take on the "all starts". First up, Trial Mountain.

I was setting a pretty good pace and had a lead of over 2 seconds. The last lap, the Nissan R390 closed the gap to nothing even though I set me fastest lap of the race. I'm able to hold him off however, and I take the victory. Next, Grand Valley.

I get the lead before the first turn and keep it until lap 3. This time it is the 787 on my ass and he passes me like I am standing still in one of the exits of a turn. He disappears at this point, and the only sight I see of him is in the distance of the long strait. The GT40 gets by me as well on the last lap, and I finish 3rd. Tied for the lead in points going to the 'Ring.

The 390 jumps out to a big lead right off the bat, and I never really see him again. I'm holding on to a respectable 2nd about 3/4 of the way around. I get off in the grass a little, but save it and get back on the track. At that moment, the GT40 slams into the back of me and sends me careening, even though there was plenty of space to go around. (Stupid zombie AI!) After the spinning stops, I get back in line in 9th. I push as hard as I can to move up, and on the last, long strait I am picking up some spots. At over 200 mph, one of the cars literally swerves into me, sending me off track and flipping the car. I finish last. 3rd in points heading in to Cape Ring.

I don't get a good start and I'm running 3rd. I'm thinking I need to win this race, so I'm really pushing hard - too hard. I spin on lap 3 and every car in the field runs into me. I'm so frustrated I quit the race and the championship.

Not sure if I'm gong to give it another try with the ZZII tonight, or work on getting a better car. If I could win it with ZZII, it would be really rewarding, but I might smash my PS3 before then.

I like this commentary and think you did well but keep in mind this is a little production car (albeit a prototype) and even then a lot less powerful than many others...don't expect the world when racing against Le Mans class cars, they are racing thoroughbreads...vive le difference! That's what GT is all about :)

Just picked this up myself about 30mins ago but not got round to testing it out. by teh good remarks tho i think i may have to spend sum time tuning it up. i also picked up a mitsubishi AIRTREK Turbo-R '02. its a big ass car but fully upgrade it and its suprisingly quick

I picked this up for 53k today. Haven't driven it yet but I have a vague recollection of liking it in GT4. Looking forward to giving it a run.

I searched for that damn thing for 3 months in the UCD and when it popped up a few days ago I had a nerdgasm... It's everything it's made out to be. I put some dark green matte paint on it and tuned it up a bit.. I LOVE IT. It can be a bit stubborn around some corners though, it turns really slow.

first car i sought out to buy, refreshed my used dealer for a long time but no luck then some random nice guy online sent me one!

was very happy :)

knew it was a beast thats why i got it, hits 370 km/hr and is just plain nuts its in my top 5 favourites that i have

has the rb26dett mid mounted.

I remember testing it in GT3 (non-tuned) and it's way faster than GT500 cars and Panoz LMP car.But sadly it's standard car.Very sadly for me. :-(

yeah its really good one of my top 4 favs

(slr, speed 12, cien, zzii)

i just dislike the top speed and the cornering of it is kind of wonky but its a really good car.

At last I got it!
Heard about how good this car was when I only reached lv 5 or something. So I kept an eye out in the USD alot. Saw it when I was only lvl 12 so I couldnt buy it. but now.. at last I got it, when I'm at lvl 26. :P
Oh and I love the car, it is that good that I imagined.

The car was designed to be ready for road racing. So its in the same league as some of the track-day specials that have been produced over the last few years. With Nissan RB26DETT power. Its a shame only the one car exists.

Fully upgraded, I beat a guy who was driving and Escudo in the rain with one of these. Other cars I was in front of were a Team Oreca Viper and a Ford GT.

Yeah, for its price it's the best. The second would be the TVR Speed 12 at 259k. That car will tear up tons of stuff if you can keep it on the road.

I must say, this car is really amazing. I saw it a lot in GT3, but never thought of driving it.

I used this car for the 4WD seasonal and tuned it down to 400 HP. Even then, it was still surprisingly fast. Amazing car.

Looking forward to fully tuning it.

My two FAVOURITE cars in the game. Ive ran <6:20 on Nurb with both of them.
