Hey DC,

I don't think that I saw this mentioned in the OP, what day of the week are the meets going to take place & when the first meet will take place?

Cheers

Scara

Hi. I'm definately interested in this, just a couple of questions.

What night will we be racing and will it be weekly, bi-weekly etc?

Do we enter just one class or both?

Do we need to nominate 1 car to use for the full race series?

Sorry if these are silly questions but just want to be sure.

I'm looking forward to getting involved in something like this with like-minded clean racers.

Hey guys, it seems I forgot to mention as to when it runs.. My mistake.
It'll be on a Saturday or Sunday (whichever is best for the majority) at around 10pm GMT which will make it mid-day in America.
As for someone wanting to run more than one car, ideally there will be 2 seperate races held in 2 lobbies.
Class A & B. If they are ran at the same time then it would be impossible to compete in both. If one was to run an hour earlier maybe then both could be raced. Depends on interest really.
As for one car all season, Yes. The car you start the season with must be the same one you use all the way through the season.
While I'm writing this I would like to reserve the #17 for my car. I'm possibly going for a Class B car xD

Hi,

I would love to be in. However, I am not able to race 18th. And one more thing: what do you use the car numbers for?

Lastly, are tuning cars determined as race cars or are they legal to participate?

If Race Mods are allowed I can see the Elise 111r DOMINATING B-Class. That power to weight ratio is intense.

I think it'd be unfair to have a car of that caliber race in B-Class, even though I was expecting to use it.

For instance the Suzuki Cappuccino RM makes 130hp with a weight of sub 600kgs. If Race mods are allowed maybe a power/weight ratio limit would be a more flexible restriction for the B-Class?

Hi,

i do have some more questions :)

Until when do we have to decide which car we are racing with?
What about the case that cars get more bhp over time?
Concept cars are forbidden, too?

Hope you can clear me out :)

btw: forget about my Corvette, i already got a "better" car ;)

Firstly, cars have to be in before the first Qualifying session. I'll say the Friday to make it easier.
As for the increase in bhp theres not much that can be done about it other than getting people to run it a little before the start of the season so the bhp is at the max & then give me the stats.
Concept cars are not forbidden, Just race cars.

What do you use the car numbers for?

Numbers are to make things a little more realistic/personal.
Also it will be used in the championship table.
As for tuning cars they are exactly that, tuning cars not Race cars so are allowed.

I'm a bit unsure about RMs. I guess they are classed as Racing cars so shouldn't be allowed but then again it only really makes it like a tuner car. Normal car just heavily tuned.
I think I shall allow them this season & see how things go.
I don't know the Power or weight you could get out of an 111R but as long as its under 300bhp but over 500kg its fair.
I've already got my Class B car sorted out I think.

Name - DC
Car - ??? (cant remember the name)
Car # - 17
Power - 280~bhp
Weight - 590~kg
Cost - 270,000 (roughly, I'll get an exact price later)

Name - Filphil89
Car - Elise '96
Car # - 19
Power - ~262hp
Weight - 645kg
Cost - Under the 300,000cr budget. 👍

This goes out to, whos hosting this event. How do u feel about, the 1st upgrade in Race Tires. For the 600hp, i think Race tires will be for better racing for us. It's up to you... Not many people will complain about they got taking out. The Sport Tires, will wear out and people get taking out. Not due to bad driving, but due to the tires. Just my thought

My thought behind the tires was to make it so they might need a pit stop in the race.
That way it would involve some strategy as well, make it a little more realistic.
Some people might be able to manage their tires to last the whole race but be slower in laptimes or vice versa.

About an hours worth of racing should result in a required pit stop for race compound tires. I'm not sure about sports though.
