I got what you're saying. The online tuning doesnt respond as, it did in the single player. That's why i mentioned the, 1st race upgrade in tires. Just set the pit stops to on.. Everyone will have to pit halfway into the race

I don't really think there's much of a difference between tuning online and offline. The only thing that changes between online and offline races is tire wear, and by that I also mean the difference between front and rear tire wear causing erratic handling characteristics.

When racing offline you'll always have the tires at a constant level of grip where as online you may more than likely wear out the fronts trying to run at a fast pace.

Any updates as to the number of people racing, time, rules on passing another class, etc?

With the race coming this week we should start clarifying details now.

I would love to participate is this event, just have a couple questions, 1st how do i sign up, 2nd I can only race on the 19th I have to work for the man the 18th. Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you.

Sorry for the lack of responses guys, I've been busy with a new job..
Anyway, an update. Start date will be 18th at 10pm GMT for the 30 minute qualifying & 30 minute race afterwards.
If someone else could host a race also then both Class A & B will run simultaneously otherwise Class A will run Saturday at 10pm & Class B will run Sunday at 10pm
(giving people the chance to join both if wanted)
At the moment there is about 15~ people that have said they will enter but not all have entered a car so if there is under 16 then both Class A & B will be in the same Lobby which could be interesting.

If there are not enough people to justify the division of times, can we assume that the race where both classes will be running simultaneously is on sunday, 10pm GMT?

If possible I would like to run both classes. I like the idea of a race on saturday, and a race on sunday. Also, I'm in eastern U.S., would you happen to know what time it will be here?

I'm not fully sure as I don't know which parts of USA are EST, but I think EST is 5 hours behind GMT so it would be 5pm EST. Basically its when I post this message as its 10:15pm here in UK (GMT)

Yes if there is less than 16 (including myself) signed up for this by the weekend both A & B classes will run at the same time in the same race/lobby.

Also, just a few questions. Will the aids be on, or off? Will the damage be on, or off? An obvious one, but penelties? Is the order that the tracks are listed in the order they will be raced in? Looking forward to a great racing series.

I'd also like to know if driving aids can be used as i'm using a contoller and really need the traction control on 2 to be able to stay in a straight line.

Will also run in class A if we get the races going on sat &sun

On the issue of penalties if they are on strong i think it is a bit over the top, weak penalties and light damage aswell is what i think would work best but just my opinion

To answer the Aids questions.
TCS & ABS are optional any others are forced off.
Damage will be on but I don't think it does much anyway (since the last time I was online anyway)
Penalties will be on though I'm not sure about the differences between weak & strong.
Also the track listing is in order, Tsukuba first & Nürburgring Nordschleife last (hopefully for a pretty awesome end to the season)
