Ok I am a level 29 in B spec and I just ran the Indianapolis 500 with a Formula Gran Turismo and instead of entering 4 bobs in the race I only entered 2. They won very easily, and got massive Experience (since there was only two). But if you can do it in that race than I'm guessing you can do it in all of them (of course). This should help you really power level B-spec drivers if you have fast enough cars to do it. I didnt even know you could do this and I searched the Forums and there wasnt anything here so I thought I'd hand out that lil tidbit.

My friend told me today that he hired a new 0 level driver and put him in an endurance race by himself Must have been Grand Valley since he is level 25 at the moment. Anyway he said the guy was all over the road at first and he had to pace him down and get him calm but he went on to win the race. Went in level 0 came out level 20

I just started the Tsukuba 9 hour race. I had 3 drivers that were blue so I entered them and let the other 3 sit. Will see how it works out in the morning.

but that would put too much work load on your drivers, preventing them to recover enough strength and mental strength when they exchange places driving.

It didnt seem to matter I even turned pitting off so my guys were running laps until they ran out of gas so they were running over ten laps at least with no mental or physical strength think I only pitted 3 max of 4 times whole race (two and a half hours). Honestly it seems the FGT drives itself in B spec.

i haven't really looked into how to choose drivers. but i know i have 3 drivers, can i opt out on 1 driver to make it 2 only? or do i have to delete the 3rd driver?

also, my driver is max cool and its annoying to pace him up i can't leave any race without him getting passed near the end. i think i will make a driver maximum red. lol.

well.. i guess giving them the the FGT makes # of pitstops insignificant in winning/losing races. but yeah, it would give your drivers more xp and faster grinding for your bobs. kudos to you mate! :)

If you dont like how a driver drives I think you can retire them and start a new one.

The way you only choose 1, 2, or 3 racers for a race is when it says you can enter more than one racer you dont have to, if you think you have a car and and a racer (or two) who can do it by themselves than you can just enter them.

I think if you give him enough car he can still get er done.

I normally put the drivers with an orange (down) arrow in the endurance races, they always come out with blue arrows - it seems that racing improves their mood.

I am going to enter only 1 Bob in the Indianapolis 500 Endurance Race tommorow, with pitting off they will only pit when they run out of gas. We'll see how he comes out. Maybe I'll come back and he'll just be doing burnouts into the wall.

Comments, Ideas to how this will end up?

Lets hope the one you pick is a Hot Head our he'll fall asleep and end up in the Grandstands

He'll take a leap of faith, coming the wrong way around the track and hitting an Audi R10 head on, flying into the scoreboard in a massive burst of flames, ruining everyone's day.

Wow, lots of misinformation in this thread based on conjecture alone...

I've been touting about this all week. I've currently got a level 35 Bob and no others. He's been running all of my races alone, and has finished the 1000km Suzuka in first 3 times now. He gets NO WORSE at driving, pitting, responding to my commands, etc. after running out of Stength/Mental Strength.

If I start the race and walk away, he'll be cool most of the time and last longer. I've also started the race spamming the "Pace Up" button, and he'll be completely drained by about 1/4 or less through the race. I pay attention to lap times to test this out, and I've set my fastest laps at Indy on laps 163 and 199 of 200. Keep Bob 1 going and he won't disappoint, I'm going to send mine into the 24 hours alone once I get there (currently at B Spec level 31). :)

I got a question for you, I've heard that drivers can quit if you over race them i.e. there arrow turns red and than if you race them they will retire themselves. This isnt true is it, you have to retire your drivers in order for them to able to quit right? Since you only have one racer I'm sure he's raced alot.

Where did you read that? I've never heard of that, and haven't gotten any bit of it. He's done 15-18 endurance races by himself. Also, you'd think that at the end of any of them, after racing for 2.5-6 hours, he would have a "down" arrow, but that's not the case, it seems as random as the short races. I can't find any sort of pattern with what causes those arrows, nor any pattern with what they affect. If he wanted to quit, he would have by now. :)

My guy is level 35, and I haven't heard anyone else mention theirs at a higher level (I'm sure some are out there), so I'll know soon if it is, in fact true.

I just heard it in the forums somewhere forever ago, its just stuck with me I always get worried that if i stick one with an orange down arrow in a race he might quit on my ass but if its not the case than a whole new era of slave labr has just begun ;)

Just entered my Bob in the Suzuka 1000km for the second time in a row all by his lonesome in the Fgt. He did fine the first time and of course finished in first. Talk about alot fo XP for one guy!

I have 4 drivers, if the races is less than 4 hours i only use 1, 4 hours 2 and the 9 hour ones i use all of them.
They only pit when they have to, and they are all the same level, level 32

And did you find out, is it possible to complete 24h races with only one driver?

I chucked in a Level 24 Bob with a Level 0 Bob in the INDY 500

The 2 of them won the Race the Level 0 Bob went straight to Level 20 👍

So let me get this straight.
The xp is divided according to how many drivers you have in the race?
Im running now on INDY 500 with 4 drivers......

The only thing I've noticed my bob do when tired is crash into the back of other cars a lot when overtaking, whereas before he was tired he would be cautious and overtake much more cleanly. In terms of his ability to do a lap without other cars around, it doesn't make a noticeable difference.

Just to check before I try, if you send off one Bob when you can have more, with no pit strategi will he pit when he's low on fuel?

Yes, but that's only the XP for the drivers. Your own XP earnings from the race remain unchanged (and are the total of the XP that is shared amongst the drivers).

Another thing to remember... Bobs level up at less XP than you do!

I think they level up the same, its just as you get to the later races where you can have more than 1 bob, the amount of xp on offer to the bobs (not yourself) is multiplied by the total number of bobs allowed in the race. 4 bobs allowed, 4 times the amount of xp, which will be shared between them. So if you enter 1 bob, you get the standard amount, but he will get 4x that amount. Therefore I believe they level up the same, it's just they are getting more xp.

Isn't it DIVIDED amongst them?

That's why I thought they levelled up faster... I have an L39 Bob despite only being B-Spec L34.
