What cars do you think you must include in your Online Garage aka "FAVORITES"?

PLEASE NOTE: For those who didn't know, your "favorites" garage is limited to just 100 cars . . .

Me personally, I think that a NASCAR and a X2010(because you never know when someone will pull one out, due to the increased availability of the X1) should be in your Online Garage if you have one,
Also you should have a actual "favorite car" in your garage for online, when you are just cruising around your selected track waiting for someone to join your open lobby(which can sometimes take a long time).

I also do not like having to use a car from the "RECOMMEND" Garage as my last resort. I prefer to use my own cars.
I hate entering a NASCAR race online and everyone is using the 2 NASCARs from the "RECOMMENDED" Garage, Jeff Gordan or Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Please post your opinions here on what you think are the "MUST HAVES" for an Online Garage aka "FAVORITES".
They are no wrong answers.
Thank you in advance. :)

My Daihatsu Midget drifter. I started it as a joke but now I am surprised at how much I use it...

Corvette Z06, BMW M3 are two of my favorites for cruising around waiting for people to join. I'd say a NASCAR would come in handy too, and an FGT. Both of those yield a pretty even playing field.

It's probably a good idea to have a JGTC/Super GT car, a Ferrari/Lambo/McLaren/super car in the 600 HP range, a Kart, a hot hatch between 200 and 250 HP, some kind of coupe in the 400-500 HP range like a BMW/Benz/Audi, and maybe some American Muscle. I've got ~95 Favorites that range from the Kubelwagen to the FGT/F10. Gotta be prepared for anything.

Yea, it is always a good idea to be prepared, but I just wished that I can have acess to my entire garage for online purposes. :)

For online racing, my cars aren't upgraded. I like to race them at the speeds they were designed to be raced at, so I instead focused on variety.

Race car wise, my favourites consist of:

Formula Gran Turismo (FGT)
Mazda 787B (Group 3)
Peugeot 908 (LMP)
Xanavi Nismo GT-R (GT500)
ARTA Garaiya (GT300)
Lexus IS-F Racing Concept (DTM)

The characteristics of these cars really say a lot more than the BHP and Weight so they tear through any road cars tuned to the same margins. They all have a full set of racing tires of varying compounds and are tweaked to suit my style. I think having one of each of those racing classes gives you a good amount of variation.

I also rotate a large number of road cars that span the various power and weight figures. They are again without upgrades, save for a full set of sports tires this time.

I'll make a short (Probably long) list that will cover what I think are must haves.

X1 - Always handy when someone else won't get out of theres and needs to be taught a lesson... :D
This also includes FGT, F! cars etc.

LMP Car, Group C Car - I'm talking about the likes of a Sauber C9, 908, Minolta and R92CP's. It's good to have one of these fast racers and there's no
right one. I'd recommend your favorite and if you can't decide, pick all of them.

RM Cars - RM cars, Elise, NSX are great cars as they are usually some of best cars for their HP range. I'd highlight having an RM'd Elise, for the fun of beating more powerful cars and also to keep in the race when someone else is racing one.

Race Cars - Race Cars are faster than Road Cars. If you want to win, you may want to build up your race car collection and get a good assortment that will cover all Restriction ranges.
- DTM's
- Super GT's
- JGTC's
- Various others.

It's good to have multiple different types as you'll often come across Class specific races.

Sleepers - Sleepers are fun. You need to have a few in order to shut up the loudmouth of the lobby.

Your Favorite Cars - This one is probably the most important. Winning means so much more in your favorite cars so make sure they are in your Favorite's list (Hence the name... :P).

Remember speed isn't everything. Make sure your favorites contains some 'novelty' items. I have 10-15 cars that have less than 150hp in mine.

Daihatsu Midget. 👍

I have the following:
NASCARs
787B
X2010
NSX RM
Tuscan RM (Had a very enjoyable one-make race with it)
RM'ed Elise (corners insane)
Touring Cars
A few sports cars

But MOST IMPORTANTLY

It's pretty epic to see this car finish ahead of the likes of X1s:lol:

Are you really just put one or two cars in the favorite lists?

I added every car, I often drive or think I need to drive. Nearly 50 cars are in my favorite list. So, if not, there would be a chance to use it online.

X2010
Minolta Toyota
Veyron
Corvette ZR1 RM
Escudo
Bentley Speed 8
Alfa 155 touring car
Alfa TZ2
Mini Cooper 1.3
These cars definately need to be in any online garage.

Edit: Add the Nomad Diablo to that list. Just drove it in the seasonal event, brilliant car.

I just bought all RM-able cars, and making them favourites. Gotta do something!

I basically have a couple of cars for every HP level between 300 and 600, both well tuned street cars and race cars, and I threw a few stockers in there in case I'm in a room with noobs and I don't want to be a jerk and blast everyone. Then I have my DTM (Alfa 155), my Super GT( EPSON NSX), fast GT car (Corvette ZR1 RM, and Citroen GT race car), and my LM car (Toyota 88C-V). All race cars have level 2 and 3 turbo upgrades so I can change the HP depending on the room I'm in to remain competitive, but still be able to run the car stock. I also keep 2 NASCARS in there, 1 with a road setup, and 1 with a Oval setup (would be nice if we could just have multiple setups :( Instead of having to keep 2 cars).

I find it best to have every class of car in your online garage.

Drift - Academy 370Z
JGTC 300 - Re Amiya RX-7 Asparadrink
JGTC 500 - Penzzoil Nimo GT-R
Super GT - Autobacs NSX
Class C - Sauber Mercedes
Sports Car - Academy GT-R
Super Sports Car - TVR Speed 12 (Undefeated against Veyrons on Daytona)
Formula 1 - FGT
X2010 - Carbon X1
Touring - Calibra Super

And so on...

No Way! I love this car too!

I make sure I have at least a few cars like the Daihatsu Midget, Mazda Carol, Citroen 2CV because 1 day someone will set a low enough limit just for those type of cars, and I want to be ready with the slowest one! 👍

Toyota 7
Toyota Minolta
Mazda 787B
Nascar Hamlin
Nascar Busch (different setup)
Mclaren F1

All must haves.

I seriously do recommend 2 Nascars as you can use one setup for Indy and another for Daytona. Helps so much.

the drift bus (vw bus) was waiting for my mate to join and just took it out for a skid.....needless to say he was impressed, also my RM Challenger, and my HKS Silvia which was gifted to a friend.... :(

I met some other Colombians and they made me buy and fully-tune the Clio. Definitely a must have, considering I'm not a Renault fan at all. It's a very popular car in Colombia.

And painted pink. Nothing like owning with a pink car.
