Laguna Seca- 15 laps (Forwards)

Race Rules
NO B-Spec!
Arcade mode
Weight penalties, results-based
No Power changes
Any tyre combination allowed
Strong Tire Wear
Rev Limiter penalty system (same as rallies/missions)
Driving aids Optional
Points for race: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 (pre 2010 F1 scoring)

A photo of the screen displaying the total time would be good too.

Submissions due by 10pm Monday 31st January Australian Eastern Daylight Savings Time
To ensure correct timing, try to submit before sunday the 30th

E RaK has asked for an extension due to shoddy manufacturing on Sony's part, and this has been granted. Deadline for everyoneelse is the same, but E RaK has got some extra time because he is waiting for a shipment to arrive

On to a personal note, I need to score some points this round. I love the M3 GTR, but it seems a little slow at the moment... Big upgrades planned on driver ability/ stratgey planning

Think I've found all the time I'm likely to. Have 3 saves within 2 seconds of each other. Might try a different strategy before deadline but if not, I've got a clean time I can live with. 👍

I had a full day to practice the first event due to harsh weather. I have a good practice session now and also did a good tire test that I recorded. I may just run with that. I need to view it yet.

Done and dusted,

AI at -10 R4 tyres 4 Aspec points race (1st by 1.5 laps)
2 x R3 stints, Top Speed 250kph
I can't speak for everyone but for me and my car these race lengths (so far), with the high tyre wear seem perfect for a 1 stop race on R3's, i haven't even bothered to try anything else.

Race wise I'm pretty happy, no AI contact, and I only ran off track once (I got too greedy over the inside kerb at T6). Also, it took way less time to set a total time that I was happy with this week, because I didn't have to worry about trying to draft the AI.

Good news! The remote did the trick, and I'll be able to submit on-time this week after all. Plus this aids my laziness by being able to turn on the PS2 from the couch...

. I am being crushed by you lot.

I won a 200 a-spec point race by 25 seconds, and I am still about 30-40 seconds off the currently winning time. :banghead:

Now that hurts :ouch:

G'Day all

Times submitted ( only managed to run my one and only attempt a couple of hours ago due to various reasons I wont bore you with here ).

Pretty good Race ( always good to win for 200 points ) AI @ +8 , no penalties this week , one pit stop only.
Managed perfect corkscrews every lap ( I knew all those years of Wine drinking would come in handy :sly:

).

I will be very interested in results this round.

Time submitted. Hopefully i did a decent time.

I never really used the Lister before but it was good. It used the front tyres more then i expected.
