I would think this would be at the top of PD's to do list> But no there more worried about replay fast forwarding & rewinds and in race saving> > At least let us know there in the process of making them if tey are < i would"t care if it took them a year to do it just announce that it will happen> THIS REALLY MAKES ME MAD:grumpy:> I donT mean To be a jerk abouT iT buT i would rather have 500 premiums that 800 standards. How about you guys?

Forza had 550 cars (plus more on the way) and they were all premiums> not comparing forza to GT cause forza is not even in the same league.

Please work on your grammar.

What you have to understand is how Turn 10 managed to provide all of the vehicles with interior cams and graphics. It is because they "out-sourced" the project. That is also why there is such a big difference in the quality from one vehicle to the next. Some look great, and others rather dull.

It is my understanding that PD didn't out-source. It takes a lot of time and work to create interior cams with the level of detail you find in GT5.

It is also not really fair at this point to compare GT5 to Forza. A more accurate comparison can be made when Forza 4 is released in September.

Nope id rather have the fsat forward replay, that way i can FF to the part where i want to take a photo and admire my car regardless of premium or standard

I think we probably will but it probably won't be for another 2, 3 months

If you don't like the game, then just don't play it simple.

He didn't say he disliked the game, nor did he compare the games directly.
Just stop with the forza comments and hate before this goes off topic:tup:

Do they bother bringing out anymore cars and tracks now? I have a feeling any new cars and tracks will be saved for GT6 unfortunately. There has been very little talked about DLC as of this stage and all these big updates that keep getting talked about never eventuate. I'd be happy to buy GT6 next year with an updated premium car roster of about 500 cars, no standards and some more tracks rather than any DLC (apart from the seasonal events of course). What do you guys think?

Your crazy to be expecting gt6 within a year. Im guessing a release date for GT6 to be fall of 2016

If u dont like, dont play it.
Sell PS3, get xbox and play forza.
Rest of us will enjoy this game.

Talking about Forza on a GT forum... You better watch out for bullies :D

I think so. I remember a news headline explaining that certain standard vehicles will receive the premium treatment, but It didn't mention if It's going to be as DLC or as an update. Either way, I have other matters that I care a bit more, like implementing Spa GP & some of the other tracks in earlier GT titles, like Seattle Circuit & Midfield Raceway (did I said it right?) & many other suggestions.

I still like to see some more premium vehicles, even if the cockpit has half the graphics of the existing premium vehicles, maybe even the exterior. Maybe at least balance the premium-standard vehicle quantity.

we had what? 6 years waiting for GT5. It will probably be another year to get more premium cars. :(

More premium cars are guaranteed. It's the logical thing to do. But it takes ages to design a premium car so it'd be wrong to expect a car pack now.
For the time being, it's best that PD focusses their attention on 'the little things' because they can make or break a game, and are for the most part quick fixes.
We can certainly expect some more premium cars in the future, and maybe even a track or two. Just be patient :)

According to this, PD has plans to do so.

Update 1.06?

they should fix the bugs first before adding fancy cars........who cares when the game is glitching and people have to restart....lets just add some more VW so fan boys can be happy lol

There seems to be an assumption that PD will have to develop the new premium models before they can release them via a DLC pack. However could they not have sets of models already developed and ready for download, to be released as and when they want?

I'd love a Ford GT40 and a Koennnniggsssseegggnnngiisiiisgg CCX. And more Formula One cars.

that the veyron didnt get premium treatment at start still baffles me

Truth is no one knows because PD are being very lame in how they communicate with their fans/customers.

I'm gonna go a little off-topic here, but bear with me.

If all the good, fast, desirable cars in the game were premium, then what would be the point in having standard cars?

It's a sacrifice that had to be made. There are some awesome standard cars, so we want to collect and drive them. If all Veyrons, Furais, Countach's, Group C cars etc were upgraded to premium, what would that leave in the roster of standard cars?

A few Kei cars and 50 models of Skyline. If that were to happen, then it really would eliminate the entire point of standard cars because nobody would bother with them.

Some of the better cars needed to be held back, in order to make both sets of cars seem more appealing. After all, 80% of the cars in the game are standard models. If none of them were desirable and we never bothered collecting any of them, then 80% of the game would be wasted. Some of the good cars have to be standard, so that we accept the idea of standard cars at all.

Is GT a collecting game?? The only reason why i have 120 std cars is because Credits are easy to get but i seriously never drive them (almost never since the Minolta is std). Sure i bought the Delta S4, 205 T16, countach 25th but they are all collecting virtual dust in my garage as they just look ugly compared to a premium car. Id rather waste my time loading a premium car to have fun with and then enjoy the replay/take pictures than do the same with a std car that doesnt look half as well done..

As the owner of a small television, and as someone who doesn't really have an eye for detail, I think the standard cars are fine. Yes, you can tell them apart from premium cars easily, but, I dunno about ugly. Some are plain awful, granted, but at the end of the day the best way to enjoy a car is to drive it. Standard cars still have engines, therefore they can be driven, therefore they can be enjoyed :)

The vast, vast majority of the photo's I take are with standard cars. Try to concentrate on capturing a theme or funny moment, rather than just looking for a pretty picture. You can still get some great shots out of standard cars with the right settings/angle/environment.

I wish i could. But knowing that we have premium cars, i will always be wondering what that cool picture i took with a std car would look like with a premium...

yep 👍

I read an interview with Kaz, cant remember were though:nervous: and he said there would be more premium cars on the way, but not tracks. And they added cars to GT Prolouge that were not there when it was first launched. Dont mention the F word of the X Box!!!!

To be perfectly honest, i couldnt care about the car interiors any less. The driving position is really bad in many cars because you cant see over the bonnet.

This makes it very hard to hit the apex. So i never use it.

If they are going to make a big fix, this might be a nice place to start.
