Who else here wants the cap on value of traded cars removed?!
 
I tried, thread got closed.

They won't even let us try to do something about it....
 
The value cap is total nonsense. I just worked out I have to do the Dream Car championship something like 400 times in order to buy the cars I want which I now can't trade for.
Why should I have to play a game for that long just to be able to drive the cars I've PAID FOR when I bought the game. It's a total kick in the teeth, especially to people who have been fans of GT since the start.
 
This is f@#$ing ridiculous!!! I've been trying to send all my cars from my old account to my GTP account one day at a time, and now I can't send over my best cars?!! WTF!! Plus I gave my 2 X2010s to friends to borrow, and now I can't get them back! I'm gonna go insane here.

While I personally think these petition threads are typically no more than spam threads, provided everyone stays on topic and remains civil, it can live. For now.

If anything, I'd suggest putting it in the Feedback section and skip the thread route.

I won't be playing GT5 until the cap is removed completely, I've had enough of PD and their half finished game and half-arsed attempts to improve it.

I guess you will never play again. Game is not worth trading in at Gamestop either. You only get like $15 for it. Ripoff

just hit the feedback section as hard as you can... for sure theyll listen to THIS many gamers making a stink over it

Yeah actually. Many people here love cars, but now, we can't access them because it is so bloody difficult to attain them in tedious trials which take far too long for far too little reward and we are now forced to go through again.

At least put an event where you earn 1,000,000 Cr. in less than 5 minutes and can be entered with any car...

Seriously I have to wait for the "fantastic" "Seasonal Events" to play GT5 about 1-2 Hrs. a week...

Do I have to play the game for 15 years to collect all cars? Maybe that's the time it will take the next sterile GT game to come out.
 
its too late for them to put this on now... shoulda put it when the game came out for ppl who dupe :)

No worries, I've a few other games I haven't really played since I bought them because of the time spent on GT5 such as TDU2, plus, Fight Night Champion is pre-ordered and comes out next week. GT5 can just sit there and gather dust.
 
i dont dupe.. i traded single cars for single cars... the way it should have been done.. i was so close to finishing out my wanted list too... now im stuck with at LEAST 7 cars that i dont want.. and cant sell
 
What happens when you gift a car that is worth 1million on the dot? I lent my friend a Mclaren F1(LM style with wing, and in orange!) to try out and i fear I've just lost out because of these "Dupers ":indiff:

Oh well, always takes somebody to ruin for the rest of us. I personally don't have a problem with the whole duping thing. I don't do it but I don't condemn it, and I thought it would have been okay to leave the system the way it was.

My feelings are that PD didn't intend to have trading in the first place, just having the "give to friend" option a way to share cars amongst friends. Otherwise they would have had a fully comprehensive trade section ala pokemon.
 
if it was to stop dupers, wouldn't it be easier to give each car given a hidden serial number, and have the duped copy force deleted?
Its ridiculous, but who are we to say anything. I mean, its not as though we play the game or anything...
 
Wait. Japan is not like the USA with its 1st amendment. In Japan they dont have to listen to petitions. No one cares about them. 1st amendment only works within US boarders
 
Sorry to have nuked this thread without an explanation.

We already have a place for petitions. And we have a number of threads regarding this change, already. We don't need another dozen about the exact same topic.
