Have you noticed that when you look into the rearview mirrors or side mirrors, you don't see the interior of your car?

Yes, I have noticed that. Doesn't bother me though since I consider cockpit view just a novelty and almost never use it.

They probably did that for convince sake. I'd be less of a flaw and more of something to make it easier to use.

the cars are also 'standard models', no matter what kind of model they originally are; as well the track is a lower resolution track with less polys...

I also don't see the pine tree air freshener dangling on the rear view mirror, do you?

Today's log in bonus: 5 free air fresheners. Imagine the state of the marketplace if people started trading duped air fresheners? LOL

Next you will also want to see the wife beside you and the kids in the back seat !

But wait!

What if I'm taking the Ferrari out for a track day session! I know where wifey sits, but where does my kid go? In the trunk balled up in a fetal position?

I have 5 unsniffed lavender air fresheners available for trade. Looking for 5 unsniffed jasmine in return.

Snap, I only have two unsniffed Sandalwood air fresheners and one New Car Scent that's already been sniffed.
:irked:

Guess the Lavender air freshener, just like the Gold Chrome paint chip, will continue to elude me.
:indiff:

Peace...

Don't forget to mention the lack of breadcrumbs, empty cans, coffee cups and all other remains of lunches in the interior of the car. It's always clean. That can't be for real.

Driving Simulator my *ss.
Might send a letter to Kaz about this flaw.

what annoys me most is that there is no smoke in the rear-view, how am i meant to know how well a drift is going?!

LOL! Reminds me of a thread in the marketplace I saw the other day. Some guy was trading 'un-beeped' car horns. Gave me a good chuckle!👍

You shouldn't see any of part of your car in the side mirrors if they are properly adjusted.

I don't agree with this. I think it's important to be able to see a small amount of the car in your mirrors as it gives you a perspective of where everything behind you is in relation to your car. For example, if someone is sat at my rear quarter, I can see how much of a gap is between the cars if I can see a bit of my car.

Also, have you ever tried reverse parking a vehicle when you can't see it in your wing mirrors? Very hard indeed if you can't see where that lamp post is in relation to the back of your car!

Bigger problem is the lack of smoke/dust and the fact that on the TopGear test track you can't see the cones.

I was thinking about this when I was driving to work today. I don't see my car from the side mirror or the interior from the rear view mirror.

You get the perspective from your experience. In NY, it means if you can see the headlight it's safe to cut him off. :)

In reverse parking, you are actually looking at the lines, not your car. Line up both lines in the mirrors and you know you are in the middle of the spot.

You don't need perspective, you know where the edge of the mirror is in relation to your car, you don't need to see that car to know where it is. With your mirrors turned out and adjusted properly you can actually completely eliminate your blind spot. Basically turning the mirror so you can completely see the line on the outside of the lane next to you. You will be able to see any car that is in your blind spot.

This is completely correct. Turning my mirrors out has completely changed the way I drive, I never have to check my blind spot anymore because there is none.
