I just went online to find a friends room on the nurburgring and what do you know... There is at least 10/20 rooms out of the 100 that are doing 200 laps and labelled $$$$$.. So im guessing PD didnt cover this glitch up in the update very wel..

If PD wants to stop people from using this money exploit, I don't get why they can't just simply patch it so you have to pass through all sector checkpoints before it counts as a lap. Therefore, even if you do glitch through a wall, you can no longer do laps in mere seconds becasue currently when PD fixes a wall break glitch, the players discover a new one and keep doing 200 laps very quickly.

They already fixed it. Of course there are other ways to break out of the track. But you will get reset back into the track when you go too far out :) those $$$$$$ rooms aren't really doing the exploit. They are just finding other ways to exit the track. At least the ones I've visited aren't exploiting money.

Trying to glitch with this version is pretty much futile. There's nothing you can do now, you will get sent back to the track.

yeep i think its in london thought they couldn't get it to work but some guy in there earlier got 2 mil so he must have done something right

Can I just ask why PD seems to care so much about this? Let me state (without being on my high horse, simply to frame my opinion) that I am not, nor will likely ever become a glitcher, but in a game that is so incomplete and offers a number of rather (serious isn't the word...) inconvenient (?) flaws, it would be nice if they just stopped trying to prevent people from cheating?

I mean... it's to the point now where the last few updates have been SPECIFICALLY to prevent people from cheating, whether it be these silly glitchers, or putting on trade limits, and whether you agree with any of them or not is rather irrelevant, the point is that there are millions of OTHER PLAYERS who are playing the game properly? So instead of punish the few that are exploiting it (I guess?) why not focus on making the game better than it is currently?

It just seems that PD is so focused on perfection, that they were forced to release a game that is CLEARLY unfinished, and now that it's out, they only seem interested in babysitting the genpop? I mean it makes sense for tracks where people are actually "cheating" but most of these issues were just people starting rooms specifically to glitch? Just let them do it... it doesn't bother anyone. Fix the game! Or at least make it better for those who aren't "cheating" instead of making it "worse" for those who are?

Polyphony Digital is like the new game police.

I think for the majority of players the idea of devs fixing cheating is a good thing, I bet most of the Black Ops fans feel the same.

and I like it alot 👍 PD gain huge respect from fair players! 👍

just like Sony is fighting against piracy and hacks.. thats why I got console in the first place.. PC is very cheater friendly for gaming (I got alot of good times on PC, but after huge amount of cheating I quit PC gaming for 6 years now). So for this moment PC is for work for me and PS3 is for relax and proper gaming with no cheats, exploits and gliches... at least for some games it is.. :) Hope GT will be one of them..

for me its very improtant part.. games like Black ops are tottaly ruined with cheating and gliching.. alot of good games become bad after exploits and are not fun to play anymore.. and it seems PD do understand that broken game will not be playable for long period.

There's already a lot of glitching lobbys. They found a break out at the beginning of the first long straight of the old track. Just before the jump. It just needs a veyron to ram them in, as it seems to be the only heavy car that can accelerate fast enough to make it work.

PD did something new in the 1.09 'cause now it resets you back to the track if you stay out from the track area long enough. But that really does nothing 'cause if you just stay under the track, nothing happens.

I just can't understand how they are finding these so quickly...

Why am i not surprised?? Haha. I reckon PD should just stop trying to fix it, and concentrate on cars and track updates, because to be honest glitchers do not effect me or my game in anyway, and since the trade cap, they shouldn't be effecting anyone.leave the glitchers alone, let them cheat, and let everyone else get on witth playing the game.

Couldn't agree more! Since the trading died, glitching doesn't effect anything. The ones, who dont have the time to grind the indy, will always find a new way to earn money via glitching.

Right, black ops is pvp...what I do by myself in my den playing single play does not affect you

Because some people really have no life and nothing going for them whatsoever so they sit at home bashing into every wall with every car trying to find the next glitch.

As was just stated... cheating and glitching are really not the same thing. Are glitchers cheating? I suppose? But does it in any way shape or form effect my game play? No.

Perhaps I haven't done enough online racing, but it seems that they all only do it in rooms designated as such? So it's not like someone starting a race on any of these glitched tracks with full intentions of racing is going to be screwed by someone glitching? The whole trade limit thing doesn't really do much to stop dupers, but it certainly effects the rest of us? Whether you agree that glitching/duping is good or bad seems so irrelevant in the case of these types of problems, it's more like... why is PD bothering?

Perhaps I'm naive, but how does the glitching effect you/us if you simply don't do it?

Or got pushed into a wall and went through it in one of the zillion dirty online races.

Noticed tons of these lobbies today

I can confirm this glitch has not died, it's still possible to do it.

Id rather they worked on more races/cars than fixing stuff like this. Just create a label like Race for Fun/Real that says "Money".

The only people with a problem about this are annoyed because it means alot more scrolling to find a room (legitimate greivance) or think themselves better than everyone else because they spent 14 hours on Indy for their shiny new car (idiotic whining).

My fix would solve the actual problem.

I completely agree with the idea that we PD should work on making the game better and less focus on hurting the glitchers.

It's the same idea as spending more money on schools rather than spending more money on prisons.

Make the non glitch options better and less people will need to even consider glitching.

People are too wrapped up in the symptom and not paying attention to the cause: the otherwise unfinished and broken aspects of the game.

Let whoever wants to glitch glitch. It can't be that much longer before everyone who was just glitching because they can has now maxed out their coefers and is done anyway. Hell by this point (3 glitches in) I am surprised there is anyone left who HASN'T glitched their fill.

At that point all that is left is people who were not glitching before but have now reached a point at which the games broken setup makes it no longer fun for them and the only choices are shelve the boring grind of a game and give up on the outrageously expensive cars or glitch some money and overcome PD's poor design.

At that point how is glitching really bad?

Then we are left with the group who have no use for glitching ever... let me ask you who fall into this group, your worries you might run into someone online who has an expensive car they didn't EARN... which would you rather have in 6 months:

All glitches shut down after probably 80% of the people who would glitch have glitched their fill anyway.

Or

Some patches to legitimate game play issues that make the game better and more fun?

If you chose the first one you are cutting off your nose to spite your face.

And before anyone says "they should play the game RIGHT and earn the cars by grinding like the rest of us REAL players"...

Because some people really have no life and nothing going for them whatsoever so they sit at home bashing into every wall with every car trying to find the next glitch.

Don't throw stones... your walls seem to be made of melted sand.

Tl :DR Focus on patching glitches means game stays as unfinished as ever and many people will be done with it as they can't be bothered to grind the ridiculously long way to decent money. Only people who benefit are smug "hardcore" gamers who like to feel their expensive in game cars have earned them some kind of respect that would be lost to glitchers. Nobody wins.

Focs on patching the game and everyone gets a better game, many glitchers may not even care about glitching anymore as it's more fun to play the game than glitch. Everybody wins.

Then there's one solution you didn't mention. Shut up and get on with your life.

Now anyways as people get their own input in I guess I'll add. I don't care for people who play it "incorrectly" and I don't care for these "real players" who apparently grind for a month. It's a freakin' game so get over it. I don't like glitchers, and glitchig is cheating to those of you who think not. It really is. But I really don't care if someone got their car by "glitching" for a few days or so. It just means, their not really car people, and don't really understand the true purpose of the game. "Oh look at me I got all coloured X1s or all 20Mill cars!" Yeah, tell it to somone who cares. It's not realy popular online and it starts a fight, so how about we close these topics as it just cannot be justified.

And to those of you that are upset at the wasted time of fixing and patching PD has done...

The game has only been out for like what 6-7 months? What are you expecting?! They probably ae conducting cars and maybe even tracks, at the same time these patches are being made, there's more then just 10 people in a company. Also their production has been slowed by the earthquake so just becuase it's all over doesn't mean they can just send them in anytime.

Any moderator, close these threads. They sicken me and probably alot of other people.

I am a complete legit driver and I do not grind or glitch.

It's not a bad thing for them to fix it. There shouldn't be holes in the tracks. That's an error. People fix errors. Compris?
