Speculation Hopes & wishes for Spec 2.0

Just as the title implies, what do you all hope or would like to see in Spec 2.0? Personally I hope more tracks, especially the tracks from previous GTs. More cars would be nice but just take out the trash we have now and update some standards to premium and let us use more wheel combos.

How about you all?
 
Small content and maybe a track or two. To be honest I don't want to get my hopes up and be dissapointed. Too bad probably half the people playing GT5 will probably do what I just said.. :ouch: Hopefully 2.0 brings surprises.
 
Sounds like a wishlist thread. Which brings us to: "We already have a a thread for this."

But on-topic. I'm expecting tracks from the older games and that Toyota FT-86 II.
 
At least this thread is honestly/realistically titled.

Still, the other one's 30 pages deep in soon to be shattered dreams, so why not join the party over in the main GT5 forum while it's good? Well, apart from the fanboys arguing in the kitchen..
 
What is the RUF equivilant to the GT2 RS, is it the RT 12 S or the RT 12 R, both look nice. Also the CTR3 looks good, think it is based on the Carrera, would be nice to have a few of those.

This! I want better RUF's. The RGT V8 would be sweet! I guess some more tracks would be cool too

Another item I forgot to mention I'd like. More Online Racing restriction options, like in the time trails you have a "normal" car option to eliminate race cars, and a year, drivetrain, & country option.
 
1: Give the drag racers the proper facilities to race.
2: Give the Nascar boy's Talladega or Bristol.
3: Give the F1 LMP boy's Montreal,or some other real world F1 tracks.
4: Give the Touring Car boy's some Aussie tracks or Super Car V8's
5: Give us some Porches.

Porches would be great if PD could get the licence, porche give a game like need for speed there licence to smash the cars up rather than give it to GT that respects cars.

I want ingame race saves.
A decent OCD.
More tracks.
 
I will have no expectations for the update. I'm fine with the game as it is. The fact that Kaz put a hard date on the spec ( third week of October ) means it's ready to go and they are confident in it. God help PD and Kaz if they miss that date...
 
Drag race will be nice and also a little re-style of some circuits:)
Also there's a lot of diffrence of money between seasonal event and A-Spec event.
A-Spec races has no sense if you need money:(

Heres my thoughts, I believe there will be a drift scoring system put into place for online rooms (Like a lap timer but for drift scores) and a new drag mode.
It would be nice if there were some new "not in the game" paint's for the dlc, chrome colours/2 tone plus I really hope there are some new cars aswell (Ferrari F355 spider & Escort cosworth road car please)
 
I hope they bring new circuits, at least that circuits that was in GT4, and some new cars, and please, really please, a better replay management, with car settings you used in the lap and the possibility to fast forward and rewind it.
 
I would like to be able to disallow the use of the power limiter in online lobbies like you can driving aids.
Honestly I would like to see the power limiter removed from the game completely, but that's just me.

I agree with the possibility to limit the use of the air restrictor, but to remove it completely would be too much drastical and would screw up all the "PP classes" formed these months online.

It would be better if the limiter was less artificial. Giving a completely flat power curve is unrealistic, I think. I actually don't know what the effects of restrictor plates are but I'd imagine it's not that.
