I'm newbie in this drifting thingy.

I just started two days ago. Anyway what car do u use to drift. I think NSX type r is the best. I used stock Rx-7 Iffini too.

the s2000 race car - gold and black I think ?
Its my favourite especially on laguna seca - the fairly tight left hander before you start climbing up to the devil of all corners ! u know which one I mean !

i dunno the nsx type r is good but it feels kinda heavy in the turns... i like na stage three speedster easiest car to control dont even have to concentrate... ummm the 330i or whatever the bimmer is, the FC rx-7, the 350 z, truenos, oh yeah and the 400r, the subbie wrx sti VI sedan, hell even the 787b is cool and the vertigo race car (even tho its hard to control sometimes), the vette is fairly easy to control and lots of fun the altezza takes some getting used to for me, supra is fairly good both na and turbo versions the espirit 350, the silvia s13 just for fun, the fd rx-7 and rx-8 are ok but get boring, oh yeah and the car i mastered the drift in the s2000. have fun driftng all... i am gonna play around with some lux cars from the uk... hey if anyone can drift in hte ruf ctr2 tell me... i cant get that car to loose grip so dam grippy great for rally tho.

Maybe the nsx didn't suit your drifting style. I use handbrake to drift and sometimes by weightshifting.
I think S13 and trueno(s.s)is hard to drift. I kept oversteering.
Hmmph. I need more practice

ahh i see your cars that you say is from "Gran Dorifto" yes yes we all try brian heitkotter's cars. kinda hard to control, but you should get it:D

My Z32, seems i've found a perfect setup for my style of driving. i'll be using it if we have drift competitions..only 330hp too :O

my favorite car to drift would probably be the Hachi-Roku :D although the SupraRZ looks interesting to try, does any have any full thorough settings for it? because i want to give it a shot...

the supra is an excellent drift car. i tuned mine to 370hp...you should set one up for drift and try it out

Please don't make ignorant comments like this....... The E-brake is a valuable tool, but some people tend to overuse it, or rely on it, which is counterproductive.... Weight transfer, and throttle control are the most important things to master.. The E-brake is just a useful tool, but not in excess.......

My favorite drift car are as follows:

FR: 240SX K's Aero (Kouki S14) Extremely well balanced, and drifts like it was created to....

MR: Clio Sport V6, light, agile, and beautiful....

AWD: Impreza STI Ver. VI Sedan, this car drifts like a dream without much effort, nuff said....

FF: RSX Type S (DC5 Integra), good looks, agile, and well balanced......

;)

Just buy the AE86, all the parts and tune it. Then just practice, practice, practice. You'll find that many other cars have limitations on drifting that the Trueno can overcome. It is the ultimate drift car.

Every car has it's limitations, even the Trueno.... There is no ultimate drift car.....

;)

I'm some sort of god when I'm behind the wheel of my ZZII, and I can drift about any car at all (All FR, MR, and 4WD)... but as for what I use mostly... FD would have to take 1st place at the moment.
