Play Strike for GT5

We should set a date for all of us not to play Gran Turismo 5 at all online or the special events for a day or two maybe a week to get the attention of PD. This is so that when PD look at there servers they will see a massive drop of users not playing and would wonder why.

I think we need to be more demanding for what we would like and not let PD keep delivering new content they think we would like. I'm not saying I don't enjoy the fresh DLC's every now and again but PD should finish the game by increase the levels more, the types of races and not just in special events, more championships for all types of racing, previous tracks from all GT's (including the one on PSP) that are not included in GT5. The other Forumla 1 cars and not just the 2 Ferrari's.

More damage on the vehicles. Fix the headlights on standard cars for when driving at night. Have more weather conditions and applied to all tracks and allow all tracks to be able to drive at night including the night tracks to day. Weather conditions could be applied in real time for the world tracks using maybe Yahoo weather api.

Allow computer cars to be driving with you on two player in Arcade mode. Arcade should allow you to use all your cars from your garage and not just the 100 added favourites. Player two should be able to sign into there PSN account to access there cars they have in there garage from there profile. For this function to work PD will have to synchronize your profile online to there servers as an xml file or something to which can be temporary downloaded for when player two logins in the Arcade mode.

I'm sure there is more to be added that is not that should be. So I will leave you all to post your replies.

P.S. When do you think we should on go on Play Strike?
 
A GT5 strike?

After we've all bought the game and all the DLC? They've already made the money, they could care less if we actually played the game. All the care about is if we bought it and continue to buy the DLC.
 
I'm not the only one who wants these, plus half of what I have mentioned can be done fairly easy with the team they have and would be a great addition in there next update. Does any one know if PD reads the forums on this site? Where do they read there fans feedback?
 
Unfortunately, not everyone who plays GT5 is on GTPlanet. So you probably won't find much luck.
 
The only way im "occupying" gt5 is me playing it on my couch. This is a terrible idea. Protests DONT work
 
This concept may be the biggest joke I've ever seen. The fact that anyone thinks this is actually going to happen is beyond me.

Why do you want to protest anyway? They aren't paying us to play. We bought the game. You get what you pay for. PD could probably care less if we stopped playing for a day. They have more important things to deal with.

If we protest the best driving game with 1000+ cars doesn't that make us greedy? The world isn't perfect. Deal with it. Besides, this is GTPlanet. A place for people who like Gran Turismo and other car stuff. Why would you take the idea to protest GT5 into here? /rant

I beg to differ. They enjoy GT just as much as there customers and if they can deliver the rest for GT5 they will become a much greater hit on launch for there next release for GT6.

I don't think PD will notice 500 players from GTP not logging in for a couple days, but I could be wrong.

I thought you'd be asking for a strike for something more reasonable, like demanding online play start working properly, 💡 not an offline game revision.
Either way it'll never happen, and even if it did, it wouldn't do much. < giving the benefit of the doubt it'd do anything at all.

I haven't had problems with online play unless the connection of the host is bad.

What online problems are there?
 
Prodest's dont work, over her in Britain, the goverment have been planning to build a high speed rail link inbetween London and Birmingham, But they would have had to destoys thousands of house and build tunnels under other, there was a protest group with nearly 70,000 people. But the goverment are still going to build it. it wont do much, they will proboly laugh at your attempt. And as acascianelli said, they got our money, they dont really care anymore.

So stop conplaining and live with it.
 
Realistically your talking about coordinating, what maybe 30k people,if not more to see results. Your well within your rights to do so. Good luck
 
GTPlanet has 204,543 registered members. I have no idea on how many are actually active members though.

First of all PD is not the government or British for that matter. Second they are not building railway lines. I'm just simply asking for those who are true GT fans to take a stand and ask for what they really want to enjoy the game more and better. Whether it's a feature, car, track or a bug fix.

200,000, of which many are inactive, and some don't have GT5 or PSN...

Besides, they are delivering fresh new content, we've had 3 new tracks, about 20 new cars and lots more in the last 6 months...
 
I wish I could report this thread but sadly there is nothing against it in the AUP.
