This thread is for 6 car tributes, they are the Honda NSX Type R '02, the Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV '10, the Nissan GT-R '07, the Ferrari Enzo Ferrari '02, the McLaren F1 '94 and the Ferrari F40 '92.

Comments/feedback here and on youtube appreciated. 👍

1: Honda NSX Type R '02:

Car stats:
Top Speed: ~280kmh=175mph
0-60ml=0-100km: ~4.5sec
HP: 290
Weight: 1270 Kilo=2800lbs

Video stats: The music used is the song from the first "Acura NSX Concept" trailer, link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzaynkoC04k. This official trailer was also inspiration for my video, actually I tried to recreate it and I made a decent job I guess.

Length: 2:39 minutes.
Cuts: 60
Worked on it for about 10 hours.

For comparisons sake:

2: Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV '10:

My Nordschleife lap time in GT5: 7.12.420= https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=222154

Video stats: The music used is dubstep, it was used in a more recent Assassins Creed Trailer, I thought it would match as its many bases and fast rhythm match this extreme, exotic hypercar, judge for yourself.

Length: 2:00 minutes.
Cuts: 80
Worked on it for about 10 hours.

My Nordschleife lap time: 7.21.679=
https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=222154

Video stats: Here I used the music of Colin McRae 1's intro. It sounds kinda "technical" and that's what the car is all about: high tech.

Length: 0:48 minutes.
Cuts: 26
Worked on it for about 4 hours.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

4: Ferrari Enzo Ferrari '02

Car stats:
Top Speed: ~350kmh=217mph

Video stats: Music used is from the intro of Rallysport Challenge 2, mostly fast and powerful, matching this beast of a car.

Length: 1:35 minutes.
Cuts: 46
Worked on it for about 4 hours.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

5: McLaren F1 '94

Length: 2:57 minutes.
Cuts: 117
Worked on it for about 8 hours.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

6: Ferrari F40 '92

Very nice! 👍 The car looks so beautiful.

I also like how even the backfire is synched at 1:10. Nice work!

My only criticism is, I'm sure you could've done that drift at 0:45 without crashing. If Gt5 was an even better game that beautiful car would've been shattered to pieces! :nervous:

Looking forward to next installments.

Thx a lot for your compliment and criticism. 👍

Though I must say that the crash is synched too, so it had a certain purpose. I personally don't like the last 20 seconds or so, I kinda didn't "feel" the music there, gave my best still lol.

Also saw your thread you just posted, have to check it out thoroughly once the time is there. 👍

I'm also a nut when it comes to synching so I feel your pain, hehehe :D. Sometimes getting the music in sync is a real pain. I've sliced and diced songs so much only to end up with disappointment and a headache. When the beginning works but the end doesn't it can be really frustrating.

Exactly my friend.

p.s. I see Alienware 10 all the time in my thread, what are you doing here so long haha?

Nice vid Alex! 👍
its a nice car as well!

epic winning.

Nice vid

Thx a lot.

Thank you. And I agree, otherwise I would not have picked it. :sly:

New video up by the way, not as good as the first one but I'm happy with it.

Two of the next 3 will be epic though, I'm sure, I really feel the music there and the cars are legends.

Nice addition to the list! 👍

One of the best and most difficult car to drive fast in GT5, epic is the word to describe it! :)

Im sure you will do it, if it doesnt have an oil yet change it will shave between 1-2 seconds.
:D

Alex, this is a nice difference from your past videos (which I also enjoy); you are examining a new theme with the editing. I really like the use of skipping (jumping) frames, slow motion and the drama of the car slides.

I have a couple of critiques, which I am only sharing because I have witnessed such a great progression in the quality of your videos.

The Ferrari Enzo video really feels like it is going somewhere, and then it all of a sudden it is ended. That is to say, the last scene where the Enzo is spinning in slow motion and the music is echoing out; it really provides an emotional build of the type you see taken to the slow extreme in Ravel's Bolero, and is the perfect launching platform for the downbeat to return in an explosive way and with an explosive clip; a missed opportunity.

The music chosen has a nice downbeat, and I'd use that to your advantage instead of changing the clip at every downbeat. This is especially directed at the McLaren F1 vid, which has a shorter beat structure and made me a bit queasy while watching. Don't call me old. :odd:

Overall, I'd say fantastic job! Great videos that, for some reason, have put me in the mood for a chocolate croissant.

Keep them coming. I can't wait to see the next batch.

Haha thx.

Enzo: I liked the song, it ends where it ends, I can't choose that lol. Also, there's no slow-mo, curiously, only this scene always seemed to loose frames, thus looking like it was in slow-mo.

F1: Yup, I know what you mean. I was really looking forward to do this video (because of the car AND the music) but it kinda turned out as my least favourite work. It can't all work out every time I guess.
