I noticed that some people managed to shut the kart 125 spl TC off. HOW? (Am i missing something?)

If you look at their info for their time trial it says traction control off. mine says on and i'm wondering if the game thinks that it has it. i've tried all kind of gear combos and top speeds but seem to lack about 3 mph top speed. maybe I just need to break it in.

Thanks roflcopter. It must be due to my using a wheel since I always drive with all aids off, except of course,: abs 1. my brake foot is WAY too heavy.

I think it's more likely to be what PR1VATEJ0KER wrote in post 5:

If you want your time to show traction control = 5 go into the Nurburgring TT and change your TC to 5, click ok, do a lap (maybe not necessary).
Exit the TT and go to the Kart TT, set a lap, it will show TC = 5, like mine does.
But you wont have any traction control. Its just a glitch.

Is that Best Seasonal TT result up to date? I'm presently 230th for the London 500pp TT.

Ok, so even though some peoples results in the online records section will show TC off, ASM off, ABS off, Active Steering 'strong' etc the karts never use any of these features and the recording of TC, ASM, ABS etc data in a persons TT record is just a glitch?

I wouldn't call it a glitch, it just records what you have set. It pretty much copy and pastes your settings and displays it for people to see.

It's is "glitchy" in that it's not perfect, it seems to record/display your previous settings sometimes.

But if a kart can't use those settings (ABS, TC, ASM etc) then why do they still get recorded in a players online TT time?
