Has anyone else noticed that this suit will automatically change to the colors of the manufacturer of the car you're driving? (does nothing in photo travel)

That's why it is known as the "Glitch gear" or "Glitch suit/helmet".

It's been mentioned many times in the forums.

Looks like Schwartz has been in another (GT)planet. :D

Damn that weak LCD screen on my laptop. JK, but I wasn't aware of the glitch gear until recently.

Hmmm... Maybe so. I have seen the term "Glitch gear" all over the Marketplace, but never really knew/cared what it meant. The only reason I would be interested in it is because Photomode. I don't really want the Stig in all of my action shots. I'd rather have it look a bit more official.

Yeah, I only learned about it when I started trading for gear. Other than that, I've seen a couple of threads about it here in the Q&A forum, so if you'd like more info about it, you can always search for those.

If only they'd called it "Colour Shifting Gear" or "Invisible Gear"... :D

I'm not sure it works on Photomode though. Apparently markus_war says it doesn't.

It's not winnable, it involves deleting game updates, but the easiest and simplest way of getting it is to trade.

Hell, send me a PM with your PSN ID and I'll send them to you myself, FOC. Caught me on an unusually generous day. 👍
 
roflcoptor, would it be possible to get a set of glitch gear also? If so, I'll be more than willing to provide it to others.

I'm just after some BRG overalls... Though I think, I'll just end up with oddball nomex suits.

I did wonder why PD didn't let you win a Pit Crew race suit. The Gillet one in Belgian red, yellow and black is nice enough. They already have the texture maps... Could even be a prize for the next seasonal event.

For some reason, I see actor- Kurt Russell as TheMysteriousEnd
 
Got them - Subtle enough.

Get a ferrari and you have a red lid and a red suit.

Slip into a Jag - and you get a (wahed out) green suit and green skid lid. Just plain in colour - no logo's other than a few small GranTurismo ones.

BMW gets a white suit and blue lid. In a word, subtle.

OKay Apmaddock. We'll need to friend each other (eek) then I'll send them over as soon as GT will let me (Either Tonight - or Tommorrow)

Had the suit on in a TOM's Chaser and it was white with Lime Green stripes...

Really I should run the open cockpit LP cars as they will show more suit than most... Just wish we had the old leather bomber jacket and 50's helmet from GT4 in the game.

Sent - But really you should get some miles run in GT.

As I've posted they are not amazing but more in keeping with the car you currently drive. But some people like to wear Urban Combat Como, just in case DLC is declared
 
Oh, I've run a lot of miles in GT. This account is probably my fourth with A-Spec of 30 or higher. (and I've only been using it since mid-march.)
