Parity Endurance Race

Sunday 22nd July @ 18:00 CDT / 19:00 EDT / 23:00 GMT / 00:00 BST(Mon) / 01:00 CEST(Mon)
Tuesday 24th July @ 18:00 CDT / 19:00 EDT / 23:00 GMT / 00:00 BST(Wed) / 01:00 CEST(Wed)
Race Length: 40 laps (~90 minutes)

Regulations

Car: Absolutely anything
Aids: Only ABS allowed
Tuning: Prohibited (Engine Limiter Allowed)
Allowed: Engine Rebuild, Oil Change, Chassis Restore, Paint and Wheels
Grip: Real
Tyre Wear: On
Damage: Heavy
Track: Twin Ring Motegi - Road Course
Tyres: Racing Hard
Target Time: 1:57.000 - 1:57.500

Everyone will start the race on racing hard tyres, after which you are free to choose any of the racing compounds during your pit stops.

All racers are expected to drive in a clean and respectful manner. If during the race you should cause an incident (even by accident) that leaves someone with damage, you are to escort them back to and then through the pits. Less serious incidents only require contact concession.

Times should be set online.

All times have to be between the two target times posted.

People can submit as many entries as they like with only their best effort counting.

Lap times should be submitted like so;

The race will be held in the PSN: MCRC_lounge
Get the FR in a.s.a.p. to assure acceptance in advance of racing.
In order to check the league lounge, you must click on the coffee cup,
and wait for the room content list to present.
No yellow people icon will show, even when the room is full.

I'll definitely get a car ready for this, even though I don't know if I can race (the dates are almost 4 weeks from now).

I think that's an interesting target time. I did 1'50 in a couple free run laps with my Motul Autech GT-R yesterday (stock, racing hards), so GT500 cars look to be a little fast for this target, but I've got a few cars in mind that could be perfect.
 
TrackBound7, Jujubean and SagarisGTB, which race are you guys interested in? Sunday or Tuesday?
 
Both/Either, most likely. As Sagaris said, its a bit off, so I can't be 100% sure I'll be available, but I'd like to compete in both if I can.
 
As of now, I will plan on participating in both events...but like the others, it is a bit off to know for sure. Not a huge fan of enduros, but occassionally they are a really good time. With this group, I think it will just be an extension of some great racing. Be interesting to see how the tire compounds work out.
 
Edit: I will probably only be able to do one night (didn't realize the start time). Won't matter what night, which ever seems to be more happening.
 
Count me in..so long as I'm in town for one of them, or both, I'll be there.
 
A couple of you have mentioned about the race being a while away. The reason I chose to set it up so far in advance was to allow people to get long distance practice runs on various tyre compounds, so when we come to race everyone has there strategy sorted out.

More racers are needed for this, so don't forget to spread the word and get more people on the grid.
 
Completely forgot about this, thanks for the reminder Mike. Not sure about my schedule for the weekend quite yet, but I'll work on getting a car ready.
 
So how many are confirmed? Is there too many racers in vacation away from PS3 and/or a good connection end of July for this event? Should it be postponed?

I am still in. I am using the DLC GTR R35. I am away from my PS3 now, but I think it has 615PP or so. I will check when I get a chance and make my official entry post.
