AN upcoming series featuring 'sprint races' using Group C cars from the heyday of late 80's/early 90's.

THE DETAILS-

Tires-
Racing Softs and Racing Mediums (TIRE WEAR/FUEL CONSUMPTION WILL BE ON NORMAL) with minimum pit stops and minimum laps of each stint/ each tire compound.

Qualifying-
A bonus points paying 2 or 3 lap race in order of fastest to slowest after a 15 minute qualifying session.

Car choice-
Up to 2 users per car are allowed, on a first come first served basis.

Driving Aids-
TCS (traction control system) and ABS (anti-lock brake system) will be the only aids allowed (optional).

THE CARS-*

CARS WILL RUN THEIR STOCK ENGINE (NO ADDITIONAL TURBOS)

Powers listed will be QUALIFYING TRIM (race trim power level will be 100hp less)

I'm interested in this. What aids will you allow? Also, do you happen to have a rough time and date?
 
TCS and ABS are allowed, nothing else. I'm working on a date, probably sometime next weekend.
 
After testing the new specs I still want the toyota.

Too bad the TS010 isnt in the game.

Ok, I'm not allowing any turbo's to the cars as they can all meet the power needed without it. I'll be testing later today before I open the room up for GT-OPEN.
 
Signed you up. I don't thin this Saturday will work, so we can just practice instead of officially race.
 
So I'll be on later today, and after the 90s LM race, if anyone has time, we can practice this.
 
I still like the toyota best even after both spec changes, put me down for the toyota.

I will do this race, not a series though. I am a Le mans addict (notice my guide in my signature), but I have too much going on to be committed to a series
 
It won't start for another few weeks at the earliest anyway. So maybe you'll be less busy by then.
