Well they did do the superior SBK. So it should be good.

Interestingly a Vita version is in the pipeline.

I'm not trying to get my hopes up too much, but I'm pretty excited about GP 13. I switched to the SBK games after GP 08 with SBK X, 11, and now Generations. I've been saying to friends a GP game with the newest SBK style physics would be awesome. I told one friend that after capcom lost the license at the of of 2012 and milestone said generations was going to be their last SBK game I said, "I bet they got the GP license back and and going to start back doing the GP games again instead of SBK".

I ran a SBK X and 11 league championship and forum that has been up for little over 2 years now. We never got around to doing a Generations championship because there just wasn't enough interest. There hasn't been much going on in the forum since then, but I'm hoping with the GP 13 it will be available here in the US so more people can have access to it. With that being said I'll most likely be starting a GP 2013 league. Going to start working on things in the next couple of days even though it's still way early. Maybe a few guys from here would like to join. I'm sure I'll put up a thread or something when time gets closer.

Are you KIDDING? This is GREAT news! I'm EXCITED!!!! :D

I know we've mostly been left terribly disappointed before but maybe this time...
If they only take SBK 09 and call it MotoGP 13 with changed skins and changed brake balance so that fronts would bite more and not understeer so goddamn much and rear would not be used to turn the bike in as it is now then that would be enough for me to be sooo happy.

Let us pray that they understand that the last GP games sold crap because they were arcade crap and don't go doing that mistake again. However we live in the age of casualisation and I also fear the worst...:nervous:

Please make it a good sim. No word on that.

Thanks Alltidxx for the info update!
Seems like there are some enthousiasts getting pretty excited :D

Great news. Although I'd rather see Namco obtaining the MotoGP license again.

If it turns out to be better than what Crapcom and THQ has produced during all these years I'll make sure to write it up on my must-have-list for this year and participate. I've been waiting for a good MotoGP game for a long time.

I'm crossing my fingers for vastly improved physics and (something that I don't take for granted) a proper career mode where you work your way up from Moto3 to MotoGP. And ofcourse some classic rides as well.

Can't wait to see some gameplay footage.

Good find indeed. Milestone's former superbike games where quite enjoyable.

WRC3 is also good. There is hope. :)

Looks good, hopefully the game play won't be to similar to SBK Generations. If we have Moto 3, Moto 2, for the career mode that would be great.

new wip from Mugello:

Seems we get weahter, or at least overcast skies.

The graphics are gonna be fine (they were nice in the SBK-series as well) but indeed wondering whether the physics are going to be, as the SBK-titles I played didn't convince me at all.

Info about the game modes was announced yesterday.

Looks great! The twitchiness from SBK seems to be gone. Obviosuly, they've made great progress in the physics department.

Noteworthy; 1:32 and 2:10 - 2:13 are excellent stuff.

Yeah the graphics and handling are looking pretty good so far but I agree the sounds aren't that great. Not only are the engine sounds are a bit off but it sounds like the clutch is slipping on up shifts. Hope they tweak it and get it a bit better. It looking promising so far but still hard to say until release time is closer.
