Welcome to the first season of the Formula 1 World Championship, brought to you by Codemasters F1 2012 for the Playstation 3. Championship events will be held on Sunday's at 4PM EST.

This series will be aiming to provide the most realistic, professional Formula 1 Championship possible. Due to recent discovery that using a controller provides a significant advantage over wheel users, DS3 users will not be allowed to compete. You must use a wheel to sign up.

Race Settings:

Participation Level - Short Weekend, Short Qualifying
Race Distance - 50%
Safety Car - On
Car Assignment - Player's Choice
Weather - Dynamic

Simulation Settings:

Rules and Flags - Realistic
Parc Ferme - On
Car Damage Simulation - Full
Car Performance - 2012
Collisions - Full

Assist Restricions:

Braking Assist/ABS - Banned
Traction Control - Banned
Dynamic Racing Line - Banned
Gearbox - Allowed
Pit Assist - Banned

Session Settings:

Max Players - 16
Privacy - Invite Only
Minimum Online Rank - 1
Maximum Online Rank - 50

Sign Up Requirements:

*Before Signing Up* To make competition tighter and more intersting, cars have been seperated into tiers. Quick drivers must start in Tier 3. Progressing drivers have the option to start in Tier 2. After the first season, good driver performance will allow you to move up to a better team.

If car performance is equal, why aren't all car's listed? the car's that don't carry KERS are given it under that rule,

All the cars are available. The cars listed are the cars that need to have teammates. But I may remove that rule.

I'm still shocked by your dedication. I remember back when we ran the F1 2011 league you were always there, you're a hero. :D

Also, if everyone is ok with the time change I can modify the OP tonight after work, and get the drivers list updated as well.

P.S. I will be using a G27, and my teammate Hawkeye will be on a DFGT.

I didn't buy the 2012 PS3 version, 2010 & 2011 were bad enough and I went back to playing on my PC. ;)

I'm fed up with all the issues on PS3. Plus I wouldn't want to miss my graphics mods. :)

Both McLaren cars are already taken. Please look at the drivers list to see what cars have already been chosen.

I'll plan on hosting a practice race tomorrow and whoever can make it can come race. I haven't been on my other PSN in a few days but I will get FR's accepted. Make sure you send then to my GTP account, FR's to my main account will get ignored.
 
I may be able to make it, work from 4-9pm est, anytime before that, I should be online.
 
I have the room up now if anyone wants to come chat before hand. Room session is set to open. Today would be a good time to test for league acceptance.
 
Just as a track suggestion is to take out Korea because the track is honestly really bad and replace it with brazil or something else.
