Expect the community to liven up once again, as two individuals have cracked the code and have figured out how to swap motors, chassis, and everything else just like the pre-2.11 days. Drifting community rejoice :)

I will make a video tonight as proof showing the date, being online, and the changes made to the cars.

To test it out I made a RWD R34 with a spoiler delete and the FALKEN Race car motor, she likes being sideways. Obviously I won't discuss how it's done, as that is strictly prohibited on GTPlanet, respectively.

Frankly I don't give two hoots about this stuff anymore. :grumpy: Just don't bother anyone who'll fly into a heated rage over this and we'll get along just fine.

Might as well learn to live with the damn things if people are that desperate. Just prepare for Day 1 hybrids in GT6.

The hybriding itself or the people raging? Hybrids are fun and the modding community is good.
 
Probably should've kept such a thing on the 'inside', behind the scenes, public acknowledgement of its return may prove to be counter-productive. But assuming a future and inevitable fix comes around the same time-frame as the previous one, then have fun I suppose.

I can understand where you're coming from .... Keeping it on the "down low" is usually a good idea for something like this. Thing is, there is already thousands of motor swapped cars online so they can't be to big a secret.

I would say "Don't encourage it like that" but I can only imagine that it will happen regardless - people have their standards and values and they're going to stick to them until the bitter end.

My only hope is that everyone can at least attempt to be civil about their disagreements this time around.

I couldn't care less about hybriding itself as I never wanted to stoop that low and other people's rage just gives me entertainment with their poorly constructed arguments.

Do what oils your gears and don't send me any creations to "appreciate the fun side" of it.
 
Well... driving a souped up VW Bus does sound like fun... am I safe if I only use these offline? I haven't tried hybriding yet before.

What's to come:

We have another set of people going all like Darth Vader's NOOO~

And the people who don't give that much of a damn and chew gum. I'm in this, and i will expect more "maintenance" and the "Worst You've Dealt With Online..." thread receive some more traffic.

No really, time to recreate the cars I enjoyed the most in 2.11, it's a shame to know PD will take them away again. I just hope they wait with the fix a bit more, or finally ease up their minds on this topic and just say 'screw it, we let that slide, GT6 is literally around the corner'.

I know they won't. :guilty:

Unfortunately, it's true. I was just in a JDM Cruise lobby and saw at least two HAAAAAAAAAAAAX'd cars.

That's why I avoid any room with either Honda or JDM in the title, and make fun of anybody who actually is fanatical about it. Bunch of 10 year olds that probably will never own any car better than a Kia from the early 2000's.
 
As long as no cheaters on the seasonal TT, PD won't bother to fix it IMO. Let's just pray no silly cheating happen again. They should learn that cheating on seasonal will only pissed PD off :lol:

EDIT : I just built my Twin Turbo Devil Z again, it has been revived :D, now my sig is valid again ... so happy, time to make Formula 2 and Formula 3 replica again.

I tried to make an INDY car out of the FGT with the NSX LM-Car motor - Has the right amount of cylinders and revs about the same. Need to find a better chassis (more realistic grip) though ..

Good call on the thread title update :) I'm recreating F3 and F2 now - both have turbo and 0/0 downforce - not exact replica as I aim for slower lap times, and then Twincharger Ford GT :drool:
