Just watching this earlier and it looks really good. I'm not sure how early a build it is and was wondering why I haven't seen any race footage yet.

It does sound magnificent though.
 
It won't feature any online or pit-stops, so it has to be extremely cheap before I consider a purchase. It actually looks like they used content for R3E, packed and renamed it.

This is only a demo, the full standalone game will have everything the real DTM also has.
It will be released this winter.

I'm downloading too.

Given that the professional mode is called "Get Real", I wouldn't hold out too much hope for it not being an R3E mod.

Looks interesting. I will definitely check this out. It's a shame that I don't have a racing wheel yet so I can't get the full experience.
 
I hope this turns into a Race 07 type game but based on DTM, obviously updated and upgraded including dynamic roads, flat spotting etc that moderm sims have. That would be fantastic.

It's a standalone game, just as Game Stock Car is a standalone game.

Is it also a mod of R3E, as Game Stock Car is a mod of rFactor?

GSC isn't a mod of rFactor, it just uses the same game engine and was created by a team of people who used to mod rFactor, as Simbin were a tea who modded F1C. Does that mean GTR is an F1C mod? Nope.

DTM Experience will be as much it's own game as any other game that gets released as a stand alone game.

It won't feature pit-stops and online racing, that's confirmed.

EDIT: I'd call it a standalone add-on to R3E, which is okay, as long as the price is right.
 
I really love the demo :) the only problem is my 2 year old laptop can only run it on Low video settings but it's quite good even then... I'm really jealous of those who can run it on High :( cuz the graphics look amazing...

If it's less than £25 I'll get it on release day whenever that is...
 
The demo doesn't have proper triple screen support. Does R3E? Anyone have suggestions for CSR wheel settings? I can't even get the steering to feel half decent.
