I'm looking for a sprinter trueno or levin hatchback... nothing really else because ill be fixing it up. And also with a manual trany.

do u think oyu can handle one?

what i did was kept my eye out on the streets and got a fantastic deal, $675 i paid for mine.

Why exactly are you buying one? And why a hatchback? All GTS models came with manual transmissions. I would do this...
Go to Club4ag.com and look under the technical reference section... read as much as of it as you can understand. Then go to the begginer talk forum and start asking as many questions as you can. What are your intentions as for using the car? Drifting, drag, auto-x?

Actually I believe you can get GT-S's with autos, but I've never seen one. I just heard about one (no, it wasn't modified). There's probably some country where they were sold in small numbers or something.

ick man, alot of club 4ag members dont like each other, i talk to quiet a few from my area, and they say that forum isnt that hot, but its better then drifting.com hahah

Well, Club4AG has certainly been lacking in quality lately but they are still the largest 4AG club on the 'net so odds are they will have the best deals.

i don't think Levins were sold here (in the States).

Levin = non-pop-up headlights. The SR5 was the base model aka AE85. Both the SR5 and GT-S came in Corolla Levin or Sprinter Trueno models. However, here in the States, the SR5 has the same chassis as the GT-S so technically it's still an AE86, but it's got a weaker engine and such. Tabs was correct, Levins were not sold here.

Please describe how you will fix up the car... like, what are you going to do with it... what you said was clearly not enough (just manual transmission?)

was a wangan midnight member, and very respected member, but thing happned, so im making a new forum for all the WM members who were cool :D. ur all welcome to join

gts in good condition are hard to find, but if you can find one its best, or if money isnt really that big of an issue, you can always get an SR5 and convert it to GTS, which is what im doing, you'll need a rear end from a gts (sr5's = non lsd)including the full brake assembly because sr5's have rear drum brakes and gts have rotors... and the housing from an sr5 wont fit the lsd from a gts, you're also gonna need the fuel tank and fuel lines and the 4ag of course and wiring harness....hachi=poor mans drift car...a thing of the past

People actually want to buy a Corolla? Damn.

Did you know?: You brought up a year old thread.

If I am not mistaken the SR5 was Automatic normally and front wheel drive... it's not even really an 86...

The later models were FWD, but I'm fairly sure Perg was dead on with his post.

Hey i just got a red sr5... And NO it is not automatic OR front wheel drive LOL... Hey and also im not trying to be TAKUMI. I despise wanabes. So dont critisize me. So one with my car. I'm SOOOO damned happy about it lol. It's all stock so far... I'm getting sent a AE101 engine already and a tranny for rear wheel drive. It is also hatchback. I got it for $500 at a tow truck company in town. So if anyone wants to see the pic of my car here it is... I only have one so far, so be ready for more in the future.

Good luck for anyone searching for one,

jpeg.exe?

no thanks. i want a picture, not a hidden virus application.

Ok... if this is a possible attempt at spredding a virus... that is against GTP's policies I believe. Not to mention simply immoral...

watever dude look at if you want i dont care... Anyway if it was a virus i'd be infected to cuz i clicked on it many times. O well i dont care..... All i kno is that im happy with my car =P

Can you correct the address, as an .exe file is not likely to be clicked by anyone.
